i got my xmas presents last night.. very excited...

What did you get? Mr Orthonut got a Thompson Contender with all the extra accoutrements, and Orthonut got a HUGE gift cert. to amazon.com (enough to buy ALL my textbooks for the next good while)


Oh, and we had the first white christmas in like 20 years down at my inlaw's place, which is even oh so sweeter since FIL absolutely hates snow! Thank you God, for the awesomest present EVER.

Ya, she has been extremely nice to me this break. She knows I am having some medical problems right now, so that may be the reason. But, she also knows this will be my last extended stay here, so she's enjoying all she can. I guess I should put that all in past tense...leaving tomorrow morning.

Finally done with CCU!!!! Felt so good to walk out of that place today. US starts tomorrow. Free weekends and nights off for 1 whole month. I get to start flying on aircare also. The perks of my program are finally beginning to show. 😀

Just found out today that one of my sister's old classmates (in 6th grade) was raped and beaten by her mom's boyfriend. Still in the hospital and still hasn't talked to anyone. The poor girl is going through a rough time that no one should ever have to go through, especially at that age. Just saddens me because I couldn't imagine something like that happening to anyone her age.
