Army $20,000 Bonus and Stipend Timeline

I couldn't quite find a good answer searching the threads. I will be commissioning in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering when we receive our first stipend allotment and the signing bonus?

First stipend happens about 2 weeks after you start either on the 1st or 15th of every month. You get the bonus about a month or 2 into starting dental school.

I noticed that on the papers it said the bonus is paid in 3 increments. How far apart are these increments?

Your stipend/pay will begin when you either start school or start BOLC. You have to be doing something in the military to start getting paid.

this obviously also depends on how many dependents you claim. i talked to a dental student who is Army HPSP and he said he cleared $14k
