Arizona emailed me last night, I got the secondary via email.

So I am working on the 500 word essays. Does anybody know if 500 words is a half a page? I can't remeber. I think it is, but can anyone confirm.

It's between a half a page and 3/4 - depending on your font, its size, and how many paragraph breaks you have.

Use MS Word or another word processor that will count the number of words. Then, if the secondary is online, copy and paste from MS Word into the secondary.

My AADSAS application went out on Jun 16. They got my DAT scores last week.
 
Got the interview at Florida... I'm excited.

Nothing received. Finally sent my Nova secondary - only took about 10 mins to fill, and it has been sitting on my table for 4 weeks. Nova still remains a favorite school on my list.
 
Nova was surprisingly short. I should have sent it out a long time ago.
 
recieved confirmation from BU, they said they will not review any applications until Sept. 15th.
 
Just got my secondary confirmation from Creighton
Just got a letter that Howard wanted a 45 money order.
Arizona needed a transcript

so I am hoping by the end of this week or next, I will have everything done as far as schools. Can't wait.
DAT will be done as well, whoppie!

Yeah, and I didn't mail it out saturday like I said I would...I'm actually procrastinating right now. All I have left is the question about why they should pick me over students with similar stats. Whoopie.

Those of you getting Columbia invites...how long ago did you send in all of your stuff? I was a little slow and only sent out the check and photo a week ago, so I'm wondering how long I might be waiting to hear back from them.
 
Hey got a secondary from UCSF, UCLA, Arizona, Marquette, and Creighton sent them all out today. has anyone heard from NYU at all? and also do you guys know when they will start sending out rejection letters, if they dont decide to give you an interview will they keep your app to review it later or just reject you.

I just called them to verify that they had received all of my goods....and she said the only thing that they can't confirm yet is my aadsas application because they don't begin to look at them until mid-september. So she said to call back then. She was a very nice lady.
 
I sent my secondary to Nova yesterday, via next day service. There was a message for me when I tried to track the mail on usps.com.

"We attempted to deliver your item at 9:38 am on August 10, 2004 in FORT LAUDERDALE, FL 33329 and a notice was left. A second delivery attempt will be made. If unsuccessful, we will hold it for five business days and then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later."

Is this real? Is Nova's Dental School closed today? 😡
 
I called VCU & UNC yesterday........

UNC (very polite 🙂 ), (1.) my application is complete. (2.) they will be looking over applications soon (3.) the first interviews are not on 9/11 as their website states, but 9/23 (maybe 9/25, sorry I can't read my writing I was a little nervous when I called 😳 )

VCU (left message, received 2 e-mails yesterday) (1.) first one stated my application needed the $70, photo, DAT scores from Jan., I sent this to them back in July. 😕 ....(2.) second one stated my ap. was complete, the committee was reviewing it, and Good Luck to me.

I guess some schools are not moving as fast as others...... I start back to classes 8/23. Maybe then, i'll have so much on my mind finishing my last semester of undergrad, that I will not be totally consumed by this whole application process. 😱

Case file is complete but waiting on my new DAT scores.
Arizona, waiting on a lousy transcript,that shows one class.
Howard-File is waiting on transcript/ 45 dollar money order letter.
Meharry-File is waiting on transcript letter
Temple-have not heard from them
NYU-have not heard from them
Boston-have not heard from them lately
Loma Linda-have not heard anything other than, welcome to the applicant pool letter.

UT houston-file is complete letter
Baylor-File is complete letter
San Antonio- have not heard from them ?
 
I received an interview invite from the University of Maryland today. After filling out a small supplemental form, they'll schedule an appointment with me.

A word of warning: their e-mail was sent to my junk e-mail box in Hotmail. Check your e-mails carefully if you have filters on!

University of Alabama at Birmingham interview September 1 😱

and complete application at Medical College of Georgia
and Virginia Commonwealth University application under review via infosource.

My application with Arizona was complete on July 10. Today, they called to invite me to an interview. The specifics, they said, will be sent to me in an email shortly.
 
Arizona called me today as well and are requesting an interview. Time to put some more miles on the ol' credit card...Oh! Thanks for the post about the U MD application in the junkbox - that's where mine was too. Looks like I'm going up there as well. Man, my work is going to love me, "So your grandmother died again, this time in Baltimore? And you need another two days off?"

I got an email today (Friday 13th 😱 ) from OSU requesting for supplemental application that can be completed online along with the processing fee. It also mentions the application can be accessed only once.

Do you guys know what's on that application and how long it takes to complete?
