Just got my 1st interview invite via email to UC Berkeley's School Psych program! I was so bummed when I hadn't gotten an invite on the day it was posted. . . don't give up hope
 
... and from my house? The sound of crickets... sigh.

But sincere congratulations to all of you getting them! 😀
 
To answer people's questions about the UCSD/SDSU invites, I do not know whether or not multiple POIs called out today. I received my invite in a voicemail, and have not been able to speak directly with my POI as of yet. I will ask about whether or not both interview days are required when I hear back from her.

Congrats to all those who heard today!!

I have a feeling that Monday will be a big day....
 
anybody hear from UCF, USF, UVA, Rosalind Franklin, or Nova yet?

Thanks! I thought I was done for for sure, but I guess I am proof that there is hope out there. Don't lose hope just yet!

Same with Duquesne's invites for the School Psych programs. I have mine on the 4th like the post says, but I know a few people who have theirs later and didn't find out as soon as I did.

Got my second interview invite today! University of South Dakota!

Unfortunately, due to the obscene cost of a flight out there, I'm 99.9% sure I'll be opting for a phone interview, which I know lessens my chances of admission and also, of course, doesn't allow me to get a feel for the campus and the people. But the flight cost of my first interview was quite staggering as well so I just don't think there's any way I can swing another $700+!!!! Regardless.... pretty exciting!!!! 🙂
 
I just thought I'd let you guys know...

if my top choice doesnt start handing out invites to SOMEONE soon i'm going to PASS OUT :scared::wow:

So Im on my way back from an interview in NYC, LOVED that place... but I was reading that some people got rejections from UMN clinical science, so imma go ahead and say the fact that I didnt get rejected is a solid! 🙂

ps these long day interviews are killers, travel then interview back to traveling, such an awful way to do things makes me pumped to get home, crawl into my plush feather bed/down comforter blanketed bed, mmmm

pps was nice meeting many of you lurkers on SDN, I met like 5 people that said they recognized my ID AlaskanJustin and that they lurked, so hi!!!!

Sorry to be redundant but I would REALLY REALLY REALLY appreciate a PM from the people who received interview invites from UNR on Thursday. If you don't feel comfortable sending me your POI, I can message you mine. This is my top choice and right now it's killing me that the website states the dates of interview invites are from 1/27 to 1/29.

Seems IIT is still actively selecting applicants -- Has anybody who received an invitation indicated interest in their clinical rehabilitation track?
 
Has anyone heard anything from the Georgia State Counseling program, or anybody that's even applied there? They are the only place I haven't heard from yet . . .
 
Anyone that got an interview from U. of Wyoming, have you received an itinerary?

I have the exact same question about University of Washington! Would the first person mind PM'ing me their POI? Also, did we ever decide if Georgia State sent out all the clinical invites at one time or if they will send out more???

p.s. I think I've taken the SDN checking to a new level. I'm at the airport on my way back from an interview and can't stop clicking refresh...
 
Anybody have any solid information about when Texas - Austin is doing their interviews? I have reason to believe that (a) the invitation process isn't done yet, and (b) it's going to be a very small cohort next year. But I don't know when the interviews are scheduled.

Am I the only one who spends much more time fretting about my rejections than enjoying my interview offers? I never used to think of myself as a pessimist, but WOW, a rejection is much more painful than an acceptance is joyful. Time to go read some Pema Chodran.

I spoke with the program secretary - she said interviews were being held Feb 13 and Feb 14. She would be emailing invites this week...

I'm simultaneously excited for and dreading Monday. I am convinced I will hear (or not hear, decisively) from my top two schools: Northwestern Feinberg and UCSD/SDSU JDP. I know for a fact about Northwestern due to a previous poster's inquisition (thanks!) and am pretty sure about UCSD/SDSU since I think they met on Friday and at least one person on this board has already been contacted. Anyone else feeling the same way?

Also, for anyone interested in GA State, my friend applied there and called on Friday... They told her that all invites have gone out! She asked when she would know if she was waitlisted or not and they wouldn't answer her question...
 
Hi everyone, I'm new to this site so apologies if anything I write is a repeat. I've applied to 15 clinical psych phd programs. So far, I've gotten an interview with PGSP and a rejection from Fordham and am currently developing a stomach ulser waiting to hear from the rest!

2 questions:

1. Should I hear from each program either way (if I did or did not get an interview?
2. Has anyone heard from/know when one would hear from SDSU/UCSD Joint Program; UNevada, Vegas; UofAZ; University of Southern California; Drexel; UAlbany; Seattle Pacific; or UAlabama, Tuscaloosa?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!!!

If you haven't heard from Drexel or Alabama by now, you probably haven't been selected for an interview. Don't know anything about the rest...

Check the first page of this thread for a list of which schools have said what - many of the programs you list are mentioned on the first page.

Generally, programs won't actually reject you until quite late in the process, although some will (check the rejection thread for a list of who has rejected and in what format). Not hearing is one of my many least favorite parts.

Just got a phone invite from DCT (well actually a current student volunteer) for LIU Brooklyn for the Clinical PhD-- interview day February 27th

Does anyone know if Catholic is planning on having a 2nd round of invites? I got some confusing info that I'm trying to clear up. Thanks! :O)
