Thanks! Congrats on your acceptances as well - they're impressive! Which is your first choice? I'm also curious to hear about your opinions on Tufts vs. NYU as they are my two top choices.

im assuming the ones who have not yet been accepted following interviews that occurred before the december/feb acceptances will be put on the wait-list...mostly those who interviewed during late-jan and feb will be given acceptances...though they over-accept by a lot i heard..and will only go to wait-lists once they go below their enrollment...so there will be some wait-list movement after may 15th but nothing too drastic...im assuming a waitlist here..sucks
I was accepted in December but will *probably* withdraw. I'm sure a bunch of spots will open up. Practically every school relies on the waitlist to fill classes.
So will you be going to Sinai then?
I just spent a little time browsing the 08-09 thread too. WL/rejections should be up on status pages at ~12:01am on 3/1. Acceptees will be notified via email on the morning of 3/1. Also a couple people who interviewed early and heard nothing until 3/1 were accepted, so it looks like they are not going to be only considering people who interviewed after the latest decision date for acceptances.
blizzard in effect today in the NY, all city-wide school closure. i'm going to venture to say the adcom isn't that eager to deliver us the news early...
Thank you for this information! It's good to know there are still some acceptances. Whatever the decision, I just want to find out soon so I can decide where I'm going for sure.

Check your status page around midnight tonight. Last year WL and Rejections were sent at that time.... so this could be the case this year as well!
yeah its an odd time especially on a Sunday..but I'll be wake and definitely checking..hope my status is not updated lol because that means i still have a chance to get an acceptance email tomorrow morning
No I don't really want to, but I will, haha.
It does seem odd since it's Sunday, but those statuses may be set to auto-release at that time like they were last year.

ugh yeah. Im not looking till after an interview i have on weds! I told my freind to log into my email tom morning and delete any emails i get from nyu. and to forward it to herself. then to text me that its done, so that i can use my email. and we cant tlak, cuz her voice might give it away. lol yeah, im weird.

It's ok guys. Every rejection/waitlist is a blessing in disguise. You now have more direction in your life! (Unless you're still waiting for a first acceptance, then I'm pulling for you)
Sorry about the waitlist guys! I think NYU's waitlist definitely moves a lot, so I wouldn't see this as a negative situation. I was accepted in December and will most likely be withdrawing in the coming weeks once I sort everything out..so at least one spot is going to be open. Good luck!
