thats crazy.
interviews are a part of real life. its as if the professors didn't have to interview periodically to reach their appointment status. in this economy, schools should be welcoming of students attempting to expand their opportunities in life. isn't that what college was about? its not a place for faculty (or students) to get lost in their egos.
