To everyone who hasn't received interviews yet:

whatever you do, don't lose hope.
ALSO good idea to send updates on activities and also i personally suggest sending an interest letter if this is one of your top schools, although others may disagree.

i'm still waiting too and people DO receive interviews as late as december and january
 
interviewing here on thursday.. anyone here already interview have any feedback? i looked on the interview feedback thread already just wondering if anyone had anymore. was it more relaxed and laid back?
 
I interviewed on 10/6. I had one very conversational interview and one that was more "rapid fire." I knew what to expect from the SDN interview feedback questions which helped A LOT. Shooting from the hip on questions like "what is the difference between ethical and moral" and "is logic always right" would have made me really nervous. Good luck!
 
both my interviews were really relaxed and conversational. one interviewer focused questions on my activities. one interviewer focused questions on my future plans in medicine.

for those of you that got the email that decisions were coming out this week, anybody hear anything yet?!

think its going to be on Friday that those that are accepted recieve phone calls.

I was actually thinking the call will come today since they mail out decisions after phone notification. The first acceptances came out on 10/15(thursday) and mail was sent out the next day. Hope that theory replicates for us!:luck::luck:
 
I am nervous too. I applied to the Maine Track program and I am not sure if Tufts calls both regular MD and Maine Track students this week. I am guessing that must be the case because both students are attending the same place for the first two years.

When did you interview for Maine track? Sorry, I haven't been keeping up with this thread very much, but is there a consensus or feel for how long they take to respond after interview?
 
anyone know if Tufts is going to be sending out any more invites soon? They've had my app forever!

Hey I interviewed in September. They told us that the committee was to meet on Oct 23rd to decide on all aplicants who applied previously. So it's possible if you had an October interview you could get a call.

Good luck if that's the case.

Looking back, some people got calls on Thursday, and some on Friday.
 
This wait is long. Tufts is a top choice for me, and today is dragging on.
 
By the way, when I visited and interviewed...I fell in love with this place. I'd venture to say it's become my top choice.

Did no one receive a call? Wow. 🙁 Maybe they aren't calling this time?

Did people get e-mails last time? Or did they call and then mail out a package (no e-mail)?
 
i'm not sure why people thought they would be calling yesterday...if anything it would probably be today (the day they are mailing out letters!)

and rob - they send us snail mail (per the email the sent us warning us that they were going to send us snail mail this week)
 
For acceptances, you will get a phone call first, then an email later that day/next day and snail mail will arrive a few days after that.

For waitlists you will receive an email on the day that the acceptances are given out.

It would be a bit funny if the e-mail they sent out was accidentally sent too early, and they are still planning on letting everyone know by mid-Nov. The SDN applicants will be going nuts if that's the case.

I thought they'd call yesterday like they did for the first acceptances. Since they basically got the same email like we did. I guess Tufts likes playing surprises!

Here's to another day of waiting by the phone....:luck::luck:
 
It seems that nobody has posted any new interview invites on this thread for a long time -- since mid-September or so, am I right?

I hope this doesn't mean that Tufts is super front-loaded with the interview invites... I guess there's no point in worrying, but I really hope they have a lot more invitations to extend!
