Another rejection. wonderful day to us with the "important info from tulane" email. 😡
 
Hmm.. no rejection yet, no invite either. Got the complete email 9/3. Apparently complete email = hold?

I submitted 7/17, btw.
 
I had a dream i was waitlisted here and i dont even have an interview.. so random but i was rejected at two other schools in my dream so maybe its a good thing! i hope i dont end up with a rejection in my inbox today 😏

Rejected today too. First real one. Feels kinda strange because I figured Tulane would be a good fit for me.
 
wow tulane is sending out lots of rejections, when were you guys complete? or actually when did you submit your secondary?
 
i am really dreading that email . . . i feel like i would be a good fit too and it would suck to be rejected. 🙁

i sent them the 'whats my status' email a week ago so maybe within a week i will hear SOMETHING . . .

OK so much for that hold theory with the 9/3 complete email. I still haven't heard from them though after the complete email.
 
Rejected today 🙁 Same day I got my Duke invite no less.

Looks like I'm shut out of Louisiana, just like DC

i'm on a cell phone and didn't think it would be that much of an issue to ask rather than sift through pages on a 2 inch screen

I'm scheduled for 10/2 as well. 🙂 I think we were at the same Vandy interview day, maybe?

August 21st? I wish I had known that you were on SDN then. Seems like everyone can figure out who I am and I have not a clue who anyone is.

I received an interview yesterday for 10/9. Any one else interviewing on that day?
 
Interview invite today! Had to reschedule and all they had available was November 🙁

So for those of you who got that "we will be sending you an interview invite" email get one yet???

I'm worried they sent it to me by mistake or something....
 
I got am interview for 10/19 yesterday! Is there an interview thread? Also, do they have a program for setting up interviewees to stay with students?

Yes, they have a hosting program. Information for it should be in the attachment they sent with the email. I highly recommend staying with a student.
 
I was ignored by Tulane today. Just like the previous day, and the day before that, and the previous 30 or so.

I'll take it though, considering others are getting bad news. I'll think of it as no news is good news.
 
Do they give interview invites and rejections on weekends?
 
Dang, so many rejections! Still alive, but seeing as how no one who has an invite ever received a complete email, and I did...

I received a complete email followed by an interview invite.
 
i never got a complete email, but i got an interview invite on 9/18 for 10/19
 
They said they have interviews booked through 12/3 at my interview... they must have planned ahead based on the current invites.
 
I was there last week, and the stat they told us was that they interviewed only 500 out of 7,000 complete applications last year.

That might explain the liberal sprinkling of rejection emails getting sent out. Best wishes to those in limbo!
