They said an email will be sent out after the initial invite with hotel info/agenda
 
Has anyone placed on pre-interview hold category get an interview here?

Congrats, I know we were both in the same relative boat for a while:

Interviewed Dec 6th
Status: 6-8 weeks before a decision, Dec 6th-Mar 7th (13 weeks)
Status: With a member of the committee, Mar 8th
Status: With the committee, Mar 9th
Status: A Final Decision has been sent, Mar 11th

Note: from Late Feb-this week, I had been calling and asking about my status. I am sure they had this image of a pest-like status troll when they made their decison. I am not expecting to get in here.

I didn't get the email yet either... Accepted Feb 25 hmmm... well I'm coming anyway, got my ticket, but would like to know the agenda 🙂

haha...well I also interviewed dec 6th and i'm still stuck at "your interview has been scheduled, please wait 6-8 weeks before a decision" Maybe I should call...

I made the mistake of doing so this afternoon. I politely asked about my extended time line and lack of change to my online status update and I was rudely told by the person who answered the phone to "just look at the website because that it what it is there for". He never even asked me my name.

..... so call at your own risk.
 
Are they done interviewing? I finally got a status change online to hold after being complete since september

I had an interview scheduled for March 21st which I just canceled. So there's definitely at least 1 interview spot available.
 
I interviewed Jan 13th and received an acceptance letter today!! 🙂 good luck to everyone still waiting to hear back :luck:
 
I'm assuming rejection after months of unchanged online status and no interview invite. Just wondering if anybody in the same boat is considering Drexel's IMS program?

well im hopeful they finally chg my status to hold since a complete in sept. so maybe there a glimmer of hope for one of the last days. anybody kno when the last interview days may be?
 
Hey guys. I'm going to be declining my acceptance to Drexel after I got a sizeable scholarship to Temple. Since I was only following 4 SSD threads to begin with I'll probably still post in here, but I hope someone here that's on the WL or still waiting for a post-interview decision gets my spot!

I was on pre-interview hold and received an interview invite in December for February 9th.

Has anyone who's withdrawn their acceptance here received their deposit refund? They've seemingly ignored my letter and email... 🙄

I got an email from Drexel telling me all about their masters and postbacc programs. Are they trying to hint something? lol 🙄

No, I got it too.. I think it's sent to anyone who took the mcat within a year or so

Yeah, it is funny when you know you are already accepted. How bout if you are an applicant post-interview waiting on a decision and you get that 😕 I would assume rejection... AHHH

Not that it matters I guess but still that's kinda odd. But I do remember the first time I applied I got something in snail mail from them about such. at that time so did Tulane do the same thing.

I think courtnes and I are both IS, maybe that's it? MCAT Date? Or under a certain mcat score (if they see that)? I'm just speculating of course, but I wouldn't be worried about not getting it.

Like I said, speculation. Do you have a really high MCAT? Or did you take it over a year ago? I don't think it really matters who got the email... anyone who wants it PM me I'll forward. All the info is also on their website, they have some really great programs to transition to medical school. One even offers guaranteed acceptance upon successful completion.

Maybe we got that email because of our MCAT scores (ours are similar) lol. I'm OOS and took the MCAT last year.

Congrats on your acceptances, btw!!! 🙂 Which school are you leaning towards? (If you don't mind me asking).

Thanks 🙂 I don't mind you asking, but I also don't have an answer for you. I'm torn at the moment. I'm doing my best to make a decision so that someone on a waitlist gets my spot, but it's such a hard decision with so many factors to consider. Congrats to you also! I'm sure you are thrilled to stay in Cali!!

I emailed Kelli Kennedy yesterday to ask why I didn't get an invite and if she could please send me the info so I could make plans to attend. She didn't give me any of the specifics but she said they are sending out more invitations and I should be on the lookout for an email from Drexel in the next few days...hopefully I'll get it in time to make arrangements...or maybe there will be 2 second look days since they accept like 700 people? 😕 But I think that's just wishful thinking on my part for more than 2 weeks notice, lol.
 
Does Drexel provide any sort of roommate match list for student's living off campus?

Yeah I called and Kelli Kennedy told me it's April 2nd. I'm looking for female roommate(s) if anyone is interested!! 🙂 Also I want to look for apartments while I'm there for accepted students day ...

No they are not. I called the office today and they said they are interviewing through the end of March. You may still get an interview invite. She said that their class is not full yet 🙂

I am new to this forum but my post interview status changed to a "decision" has been made. Not "Final Decision". Has anyone been accepted with this status update or should I expect a waitlist? Also, how much does the Drexel waitlist move?

You should expect a waitlist, but I've heard there is a ton of movement May-July

Sorry to hear about the waitlists 🙁 From what they said at the interview, the waitlist is ranked but they don't tell you.
 
So my application has been has been with a member of the admissions committee for the last 3 weeks and it said that it would be sent to committee shortly. I'm freaking out that its taking so long to make a decision. :-(

Mine took 13 weeks, don't freak out.
 
Anyone know how the wait list moves at this school? Is it mostly after 5/15 that it starts moving around or is it sooner than that?
 
Any chance for someone placed on pre-interview hold to get an interview??
