Interviewed today, very relaxed staff, and were incredibly helpful in getting me situated after the interview.

Interview was very conversational. Also, there isn't any real structure to the day, they pretty much let you take care of yourself and have everyone meet up for a quick tour and lunch around 12 (which was really nice!).

Hope this helps someone! Good luck to everyone!

I'm glad you sound like you had a good time here. Good luck! :luck:

If any questions come up about the school during the admission year please feel free to pm me or just email admissions and ask to talk to a student.

Secondary Submitted: 9/14
Complete: 9/22

...what. This makes me very upset.

Complete for almost a month now and nothing...

Just for an idea of the timeline I experienced...

-It took ~2 months for me to be "complete" after I submitted my secondary
-It took ~1.5 months for me to be invited to interview after being marked complete

Even then, I remember there being plenty of people who were complete around the same time or before me who still had not heard, and I don't think that meant anything.

Moral of the story: be patient. The admissions process is slow and agonizing. I seem to recall quite a few people having a similar discussion as above last year (i.e., that they hadn't heard from Einstein in a long time). Maybe their admissions process is a bit slower than some schools, but find some comfort in the fact that their interview season is a long one, and you could hear from them at any point along the way.

Complete since 35 days. Hope I get an II soon!!

Do you mind me asking your stats?

35R, cum 3.76, sci 3.62

don't feel bad if you've been complete for a while and haven't gotten an II. it was probably an error that my app got towards the top of the queue or something?

crazy, I just added AECOM to my application. Hope I'm not too late!

So by that chronology I should hear back in November? Complete late Aug

The application process is very random...
I was complete in mid-August and got an interview invite about 5 weeks later.

For those who have interviewed, how long does the interview day run if we are scheduled for a morning interview (9-10am)?

Thank you.

I finished at 210 and I think the 'norm' was 2 but they were running late.

If you interview in the morning then you just have a lunch tour of the campus with students and then you are done. If you need to fly back earlier or want to stay to see something later that can easily be arranged. It's really flexible after your interview.

submitted!

Does AECOM have a status page or status via email only?

I received an MCAT score below a 30 and completed my application August 20th, then received an invite in Mid September. So, there is still hope for those with low MCAT scores or for those who submitted later in the cycle.

is there anyone else who's been complete since mid-july and haven't heard back yet?

hi guys
during my undergrad, I left my four year university to take a class at a community college for a semester.
my question is, does this count as "taking time off"? I was just in a different school, so i dont think i was taking time off??

For those of you who flew into LGA or JFK, what was the best way to get to the medical school? I know that taking a taxi/shuttle/van is more convenient but they can be quite expensive. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks!!! 🙂

Can anyone recommend a safe, affordable hotel near Einstein? (they recommended 2 in the interview confirmation, but they were pretty far from the school and pricey)

can anyone who had an afternoon interview at Einstein share what time they were done with their day? is it really ~5 PM as the website suggests? i'm looking to catch a bus and want to make sure i book a ticket for a time i can make. thanks!

Hey guys so I e-mailed admissions and asked why I never got an e-mail saying that my secondary was completed and they told me to go check my applicant status in their website. Call me dumb...but I cannot find how to do so! I submitted 10/4 and haven't gotten the e-mail.

My applicant status just says secondary submitted, and I got an email approximately two weeks after submission saying I was complete. I would just wait a while longer. They probably have a lot of applications.

I tried looking for you as well and the only thing I can find is the page saying my secondary application was submitted. I submitted 8/26 and didn't get an email until 9/1.

My interview is on Monday. For those that interviewed, do you guys have any tips???

Hey everyone,

After viewing this thread, I'm assuming there's been no interview invites given out in October so far? Anyone?

I've been complete since the end of July and still nothing...

Definitely bring something to do/read in case you have a lot of down time, because there is only one interview. That said, there's a good chance that there'll be a lecture going on that you could attend.

Nothing, complete mid August. It doesn't seem like many interviews have been sent out this month at any of the schools I applied to!
