Any females interviewing on the 23rd want to split the hotel bill? I already booked a room at the Superdome Holiday Inn. If we split the cost, it will be around 50-55 dollars each.

You were so right, raltima. I finally heard back - October interview!!! Complete 7/26, OOS. So no worries guys, if you haven't heard from them yet and it's been many weeks, I bet you will soon. And I bet it will be an II.

I been stalkin for a while. Received complete email 8/3. Called in on 9/7 cause I couldn't take the anxiety anymore. I asked for a status update and was told my status was invite for interview and I would be receiving an email soon. No email still. I called back on 9/14 cause i still didn't have an email. A diff lady answered. I asked for status update, cause was surreal and wanted to see if it was right. Lady said to wait. I can't take it anymore!!! Anybody else like this???

They schedule you for a certain day when you get the e-mail. It looks like they want to interview you, but don't have a specific date yet.
Also, for a bit of perspective, there were ~1.5 months between my complete e-mail and II e-mail. It might take longer now because the office has a lot more on their plate atm. (more apps., organizing interviews, conducting interview days etc..)

Good to know that at least someone else is in the same boat as I'm in....makes me feel a little better that at this point we have a real shot to interview. Although this no news is good news thing is getting old.

Just got the secondary, hoping to finish it up today. I was a little concerned about whether my letters of recommendation were going to be acceptable, but apparently they take a pretty lenient interpretation of "two science professors".

From the website it appears that Tulane still teaches based on the older curriculum method instead of the newfound organ-system based curriculum style. Does anyone know if they are planning to switch? and when?

They said nothing about any intention to switch. They really didn't talk about the curriculum either, just put a timeline in our interview-day folder.

The first year (Biochemistry, Anatomy, Genetics) is still the older curriculum method but the second year is organ-system based.

Been busy with class, booking flights, etc. Does anyone have specific interview questions they found tricky/difficult/out of nowhere? Im not sure what to expect and would like to MURDER this interview! Also, if you guys get multiple acceptances, how you gonna decide? Match (previous residency matches and personal match)? Money? Location? Just wondering how others are making this decision.

That's great! Where else did you get invited to? So I finally relented to the waiting game and decided to call today. And I got an interview invite! I actually would've gotten my e-mail today but I had to reschedule to the following week.
