Oh, crap! Hope you feel better soon. I've found that emergen-c and other stuff like that are good for days when I am feeling crappy and need to keep going. Other remedies that I would recommend are pho w/chicken (Vietnamese soup) and posole verde. I have a super easy and quick recipe for posole verde that I can email you if you want. Both soups always shorten the life of any bug I get!!
 
I'm also still waiting to hear from American Lake. Also, has anyone yet heard (or know someone who has heard) from Baylor's Neuropsych Track? I know people have heard from some of the other tracks, but I haven't read anything about the neuropsych track yet.

I've yet to hear from Baylor or the Houston VA (MEDVAMC) regarding their NP tracks. I believe notifications from both went out on the 14th or 15th last year, so they should be coming today or tomorrow.
 
I didn't hear anything yesterday and nothing so far today... *sigh*

I am still waiting to hear from Cincinnati Children's clinical child track, Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health (in OH), and Wright State...

in the last few days. 6 of my last 7 have been rejections so I'm kind of used to it at this point...🙄
 
Got a rejection from Terry Children's Psychiatric Center this morning. Seems like a mass email.

ugh, definitely sounds like a day to keep 'em home! Do you plan to work with kids and/or adults? Good luck on the rest of your notifications!
 
Just received an email from the University of Florida CC. They only do phone interviews. Very exciting, as that means I don't have to fly there! I haven't heard anything else yet today.

My best friend is currently an intern there and he loves it.

Received an e-mail rejection from Northern Illinois University CC.

After starting off with 5 interviews, I've now received 5 rejections in a row. This is definitely an arduous, confusing, up-and-down process. :laugh:

I don't really know. He did practicum there so we never really talked about that interview since he knew what he was expecting. If I hear anything, I'll let you know.

Got the same rejection. And they are just down the street from me. Should have taken the hint when I applied there for practicum and they didn't want me either.

Got a University of Tennessee Health Science Center rejection. Not a big deal.....got weird emails from a previous inquiry, plus not thrilled about living in Memphis anyways.
 
E-mail rejection from Henry Ford's adult neuropsych track. Seemed like a mass e-mail, so I'd be very hopeful if you didn't get one. As everyone has said to me, who wants to live in Detroit?

PS: I kinda did, but oh well. No Red Wing games for me! 🙁

Just got this rejection from Greystone Park:

"Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in the internship program at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital. After careful review of your application, the training faculty and I do not believe that you are a good match for our site. Therefore, we are unfortunately not inviting you to interview."

How kind of them!!!

Where I'm going (so far) and how I got there:

Columbia/NY Presbyterian (phone call 3 weeks ago)
CNVA/Medical College of Georgia (phone call 3 weeks ago)
Hamm Clinic (e-mail last week)
Riverbend CMHC (e-mail 2 weeks ago)
Cambridge/Harvard (phone call today)

...and as expected, all rejections have been via e-mail.

Nothing in the actual body of the e-mail. lol That was pretty clear!:wow:

I interviewed there last year and wasn't impressed (and the interns had really negative things to say) but since I interviewed last yr I applied again this year as a "safety." Guess they weren't that safe! lol

I received a rejection from Mt. Washington on Dec. 7th.
 
I got a rejection email today from UMDNJ Newark Child Track. Looked like a group email.


However, I did got an interview at Lincoln!! It was a phone call. 🙂

Sharp HealthCare contacted me for an interview last week. Interviews are 1st and 2nd week of January.

Hey! haven't heard from UCLA or UCI or the Guidance Center. BUT I was reading earlier and someone's classmates had interviews at UCI, so I am confused....

Got a rejection from Bellevue (saw that one coming but still :cry: )

Interview invitation at Valley State Prison, kinda psyched for that one...
