Does anyone know:

1. After receiving applications, do programs start offering interviews right away or wait until a certain date or until they see a certain # of apps?

2. Can you send additional letters of recommendation after uploading your application?

I'm applying now and haven't heard from anyone yet(I submitted the first week of July). I applied to 7 programs, so obviously some may offer interviews immediately. You can add letters after you submit.

Congrats on your U of A interview! Dr. Smith, the new program director is amazing. She used to have a private practice in women's mental health and child psych. Everyone has been ecstatic about her transition to academics. She is very compassionate, has excellent rapport with patients + families, and is very committed teaching residents. There are too many good things to say about her.

Congrats!!!!! Very exciting. St. Luke's Roosevelt today. I gotta say, my 2 times in NYC were financial disasters, but I do love the city. Willing to give it another roll if it works out that way.

Congrats! I've also heard from OHSU, university of chicago, brown, cambridge, and maine. And I know of folks who heard from children's.

Nevermind. Four hours after my anxiety reached its peak, I received an email from them. Phew.

Denver was a great place to do child. Take a close look. The faculty are awesome. And one of the coolest experiences I had was family therapy on the inpatient unit.

I heard from NYU a few weeks ago, didn't apply to the others. From talking to other applicants at an interview last week, it sounds like invites are coming out kind of randomly ( some people had heard from programs weeks later than others, even after applying at the same time)
