Yes. It was a lot. I didnā€™t jump from social to social. I tried to relax, but thatā€™s hard. The entire processā€¦. While in residency is a lot.

I don't know that ever fully goes away. I'm closing in on a decade of attendinghood and I still feel imposter syndrome when I talk to or see the giants in the field who have changed the way kids receive healthcare throughout the world. I am just grateful to all the folks who choose to dedicate their lives to CAP before it was cool šŸ˜Ž.

I tried to meet PDs and fellows to get a better sense of the programs that I applied to which were almost all California programs. I went to a couple socials as well. Overall, the interactions I had with the PDs and fellows definitely gave me a lot to think about. My top 5 programs rankings got shuffled around due to some of the stuff I learned. The worst interaction I had was with the PD of my original first choice. I was super excited about the program and had already been in contact with them and the program since the APA conference. But when I met him, he was uninterested and dismissive. And I learned that the program did a 180 and is now going to be a workhorse program so thatā€™s great.
 
Can we consider an anonymous post for program impressions? It would be nice to know everyone's thoughts from interviews + AACAP.
 
I have a very dumb question that I'm kind of freaking out about. Did the NRMP fellowship log in just start a couple weeks ago? I am honestly not sure if I created a special NRMP for fellowship.... Do I just create one now?

If you go on Nrmp you have to register and pay for fellowship (the app opened the week of aacap.
 
Any resources where we can find how many positions each program offers and if they went filled or unfilled? Thanks!
