Since I figure we are all doing this, does anyone know how the health forms or this BLS class is supposed to work? Do you think they will accept the online form of the class?
There are two parts to the course, the info part and the hands-on part. You can do the info part online, but in the end you will still have to do the skills section in person. I think the entire course is around 4 hours, so it seems much easier to just do it in one go. Some places also give you the certificate on the day of. Is BLS any different than just being health care provider CPR certified?
Uh I didn't get an alternate list e-mail. Anyone else in the same boat? Starting to think its a rejection![]()
Try calling them to confirm your withdrawal. Us waitlisters would greatly appreciate it!I mailed back my acceptance reply form, asking to withdraw from the class. But i still get emails about housing, white coat ceremony...it's weird

Nope.Did anyone who returned the alternate response form get confirmation that they received it?

I didn't get any confirmation. I followed up today just to make sure they got it all right but didn't hear back. That seemed odd because their admissions office usually responds so quickly.

Just called in. I hadn't gotten an email confirmation for my alternate list response form, but they said they received it. I sent mine in on the 3rd, but she said that they had just entered mine today so I should be receiving an email soon. Also, from what she said, we should also be receiving some packets in the mail with our health forms and some further information on everything.
That's what I did. I pasted the link it provided me at the end into the email, and I got a green checkmark two days later.Question to accepted students: Did you have to email a completed certificate of completion for the Financial Literacy 101 online modules in order to receive a green checkmark on the checklist page?

On the other hand, after I finished the studying styles survey, it took about 4 days before the green check showed up. I didn't send anything for that.
Yep, same for me. I'm planning to call tomorrow and see if they can give me any other information.I got a confirmation email for my alternate list response form, but haven't gotten any email with a username and password yet. Anyone else in the same boat?
Just accepted by phone off of the Alternate List, which I was placed on last week. Looks like there's some decent movement Alt List friends.
Had you completed all required fields specified in the original alternate list email (ie- transcript, BLS, health forms)?Just accepted by phone off of the Alternate List, which I was placed on last week. Looks like there's some decent movement Alt List friends.

Can any current first years talk about the new curriculum or give their opinion on how the entire year was with it? The only other posts about the curriculum were back in September and I'm just wondering how everyone feels about it now after being exposed to it for the entire year.
I have spoken several times with a professor who has said it's "way better" than the old curriculum for what it's worth
Thanks for the feedback! Did they give any specific reasons about why it is better?
To the health office, not admissions. Address should be on the forms somewhereHi, does anyone know where we submit the health forms?
