Damn I interviewed 9/9 and haven't gotten anything. I'm about an hour out on Long Island 🙁
Now I'm nervous 🙁
Same here, interviewed 9/4, and I'm about 20 minutes from Downstate by car. I'm not gonna worry about it too much yet - you never know when the mail's gonna come exactly. I'm so glad they never ended up doing away with Saturday delivery! Tomorrow could be the day.
Crossing my fingers for both of us! I'm hoping since we haven't gotten an email we are safe at this point haha

Anyone get accepted after 9/25?
Accepted on the 26th. gpa > 3.9, 36 mcat. Quite nervous on interview day, and arrived almost late due to taxi issues. However, the interviewer was incredibly nice (easily the most warm and inviting person I have interacted with out of all of my interviews) and put me at ease. I left the interview feeling confident, as my interviewer made the interview truly conversational and allowed me to get across all of my salient points.

BTW for anyone else still waiting, I called today and they told me 6-8 weeks for a decision even though their website says 4-6 weeks.

Congratz! When was your letter post-marked? This is shorter than notification period, 6-8 weeks.
They interview on Wednesdays? I was there on 10/8, have yet to hear back.
Wow Congrats! That was pretty fast! Guess us October interviewees could be hearing back this week! Why doesn't the mail come on sundays????
For those who are accepting the offer of admission- I mailed the form in indicating my acceptance via regular snail mail. Anyone know if they email you to let you know they received it? Should I call or email to see? Not that I don't trust the post office, but I worry 🙂

It was one of those situations where as soon as the letter disappeared into the mailbox I was like OH NO WHY DIDNT I SEND YOU CERTIFIED?
Haha anyway I called this morning- the line was busy forever but finally got through and the lady said they received it. She sounded really exhausted. I wonder how many annoying phone calls like that the office fields a day!

Nope, on Wednesday 10/9. Letter was postmarked 11/1 and I received it 11/2 (I live in Brooklyn and got lucky). It really did come much earlier than expected. I think you guys will hear soon!

And yea we have to take a CPR course, I'm not sure if there is one offered by Downstate but it's a simple class for a few hours on a Saturday usually
