I got an acceptance call last week!
Pretty sure that stuff is due July 1st so they just want everyone to get it in ASAP
Accepted off the alternate list by phone today! First acceptance! Its like surreal. I still can't believe it happened.

Did anyone forward final college transcripts? How is it being done? Do they need another transcript sent by the school directly to them (it said in the email that AMCAS does not forward transcripts)?
Yep, I just requested that my transcripts be sent directly to them. I'm betting it's $20 down the drain, but certainly not taking any chances!
Can we e-mail the proof of citizenship/BLS or do they need to be hand mailed?
I think we can email. I did that for my passport yesterday, waiting for it to show up but will let you know.

Just realized I sent one thing to admissions and one to medadmissions...oops. I'll give it a few days and then re-send anything they haven't gotten.
Either email appears to work, as I have successfully sent to both. I took a photo of my BLS card and emailed it in as a pdf - they responded saying thank you and that my folder would be updated. Still hasn't appeared on my checklist page. So give it time...

But considering it took over a week after I got the phone call to get the acceptance letter, I'd say everything is running a little slower.

For anyone who is wondering about health forms, I had emailed them and the provided said that they would prefer a PDF of the forms over it being faxed. the email is in that checklist site they sent us.
I also turned in my nys residency application in person. And it was approved in 15 minutes. Just submit the documents they want. I did utilities, bank statements, drivers license, and voter registration card.

I email the pdf of my passport and they said it was enough
When I called with a question regarding lab slips they told me they preferred fax and my forms got approved within 2-3 days. Guess it depends who's answering the calls 😛
It must. The person who replied to me said that lab results are often fuzzy when faxed. So if you have access to fax, go crazy. If you don't, no worries.
I'm just wondering but did everyone on the alternate list here receive that email on June 24 telling us that if we wish to remain on the Alternate list we must leave open August 4 for orientation, as people are accepted all the way up to the week of classes?
Also, has there been any recent movement from the alternate list and has anyone been accepted off of it this week?

I suppose it has to be. Most other schools have a ranked alternate list but this definitely more conjecture than solid truth.

Same thing here. I actually brought it to the admission's office and handed in a week ago. It's still not checked off on my checklist. I called the office on friday and the lady said that if I handed it in then they got it and to give them time to look at it
It takes awhile for sure. I was tracking the delivery of my transcript via UPS, and even though it was marked as delivered last Monday, it didnt show up on my checklist until today.
Have they been replying to your emails? They usually reply rather quickly. I am out of town but I need to visit the health office for a second PPD test according to my health forms. I wont be able to head back to NYC till Thursday and I am hoping it won't hurt me that my health forms are not fully done by 7/1 which is their original deadline.

My assumption is that there's a list and they just take from it when a spot opens up. You think they are reviewing the list again?
I agree powderskiingdude. I think they have a list and select from it as vacancies arise. However I don't think there is a reason for a committee to look at the applications again. This is all my guess but I think just one individual makes the call on who gets selected.
