It said congratulations on being accepted(paraphrase) and there was a link to pay my deposit.

Rejected today, post-interview (interview was back in November). This one stung man...I really thought I was one of the more "qualified" candidates in the applicant pool on the day I visited.

I think the most underrated aspect of the Upstate interview day that I haven't seen mentioned here yet was that spread they put out for us at lunch. MAN! I pigged out. The other interviews I've had haven't even come close. I had some tasty chicken riggies, a creamy broccoli alfredo pasta, garlic knots that melted in your mouth, salad, and fresh cookies galore. With everyone all dressed up, it was like fine dining except for the plastic silverware.

LOL…Yes, there were certainly some tasty treats. I interviewed 12/11 and haven't heard anything yet. My status page still says "Congrats on your interview". Anyone else in my situation? Sorry to all my 12/11 mates who got rejected, but you'll likely end up in a warmer place!

I'm in the same boat, and my status page says the same thing as yours. Fingers crossed for good news sometime soon.

Got the email this morning... HPA ... Not sure how to feel about it, although I'm not very excited for the gruelingly long wait ahead. Interviewed 12/4.

Anyone know anything about how the HPA list moved last year?

Anyone get accepted and NOT receive an email? I just logged into my status page and it stated congratulations for your acceptance, but I have not received an email and have no proof other than a receipt from the bursars office for the deposit.

Yes. I got that same message on Wednesday and like you only have my receipt as proof.

Just wait. I interviewed 11/13 and was told it would take 5-6 weeks, but I didn't get my decision until this week.

For those who saw they had been accepted via their status page without an email, YES ITS REAL. I was in the same boat last year and paid my deposit instantly because I thought that it might disappear or something. Congrats!

I was put on pre-interview HOLD back in November. Still haven't heard anything since then… and the weird thing is that when I go into my application page I cannot see my status. It doesn't show the "pre hold interview status" anywhere. Is anyone in the same boat?

I can't see my status either and I was put on hold around the same time.

They don't show the "pre-interview hold" status on your page. When I was put on hold, nothing on my page changed.

Have been on pre-interview hold since mid September...still no word though 🙁 I just don't know how to feel about it since people who've been put on hold later than me have already heard back. I guess they don't review applications in order. Is it possible that the hold category has some kind of ranking as well?

I wish nobody posted that they got their acceptance through the status page. It was alot easier for me to just sit back and wait for an e-mail notification. Now I'm checking my status incessantly. I wonder, if they are able to see my number of logins, whether they'll think I really love the school or I'm a lunatic.

That is what I am thinking…but I have been placed on hold for a while. Idk if your in the same boat, but they should have sent out rejections if interviews were over. Just trying to be hopeful

On the bright side, you know you actually have to check your status to find out whether you were accepted at the moment.

Yes. It went blank, and then I got my decision 5 days later.

I got an e-mail invitation to second look from Upstate minutes ago. I interviewed 12/11, my status disappeared on Friday, no word of a decision yet. What does this mean?!

Same here....either this is a really unfortunate accidental email or we are in? are waitlisted students invited to these?
