I don't see a detailed breakdown of the tracks under the Charleston invites. Did anyone receive an invite for the BMed track? I'm pretty sure this one's out, but it would be nice to know for sure.
 
Has anyone received rejections from Hines VA or James Lovell VA in Chicago? They both sent out their invites a long time ago, so I'm guessing they're just sitting on the rejections until Dec 15th, but I thought I'd ask.
 
E-mail Invitation to NOPIP- Indian Health Care Resources Center: Interview dates are Jan 15 and 16.

I'm waiting for Hines VA too.
 
Received rejection from Puget Sound VA - American Lake just a few minutes ago.

I emailed the TD back to clarify...still waiting on a response. I don't understand how there could be this huge of a mix-up. Our email exchange we had this morning indicated that I'm interviewing there...then right after we exchanged messages I got the rejection email. Not sure what to think...

I'll update once I get a response. Let's hope for a good one...

That's really disappointing. I'm sorry to hear that. I'll hope for good news for you....on the other hand, if it really is a rejection..you may be happy that you dont end up at an unorganized site....just a thought....*good vibes*

These invites are rolling. I interviewed here last Friday, and there were no BMed applicants there; however, I have a friend who applied for that and SA, and got his invite. Hold out hope! Good luck!
 
I received a personalized email invitation to the SLC VA!! for a group interview January 14th.

Heard from King's County today with an interview invite - I have to say I was not expecting that! A friend of mine was invited by them over a month ago and I figured that ship had sailed.

Also got an invite from Institute of Living, hurray!

Congratulations!!!!!!! Which track for Kings County? They extended their notification date...I really like that site
 
Anyone heard from University of Massachusetts Medical Center/Worcester State Hospital??? There first interview date is listed as 12/17 and I haven't heard either way and haven't seen them on the list. Seems weird that no one has heard with such an early interview date.
 
Anyone hear anything from University of FL CC or Duke CAPS? Duke had an early deadline and I'm surprised not to have heard either way.

I got an interview offer from Lovell a bit later than others who posted on this site, so perhaps there is still hope there. I just received a rejection email from Hines VA.
 
this week is driving me even crazier than usual! argh i am waiting on 2 madison sites and 2 other midwestern sites, and 2 totally far away sites. i really want to get this sorted so i can know how the next 4 weeks are going to go and what is going to happen to my bank account!

I am also still waiting to hear from the University of Florida CC. I think when I searched the older forums, it looked like they notified fairly close to their Dec. 15 notification date (if my poor memory serves me correctly 😛 ).

UGH. Yep, it was a rejection. Barely even got an apology. The email just said "We apologize if you got two emails...Unfortunately, some people were sent the wrong letter."

How ridiculous. Starting to feel happy I won't be working at a site that could do that and not feel TERRIBLE about it.

Still waiting on 14 other sites...
 
Rejection from Texas Children's. It was expected since invites went out a while back. I'm so glad I can read things on SDN first, I think it softens the blow a bit...

Here's hoping for at least one more interview out of the two sites I have left to hear from.

No interviews at this point :/ Trying to stay hopeful. With two more rejections today, I only have four left to hear from and only two of those sites do I feel like I have a real chance at. I would be so happy if I could get just one interview.

Yes, well... it's not like it's an unusually stressful process for us to begin with, right? ;-)

Besides, expecting them to spend the extra two minutes it would have taken to avoid the mistake, or three minutes it would have cost them to reply with some understanding and compassion is ridiculous. Thank goodness they're not in a field where empathy and compassion are required.

Wow, I guess maybe you can find some solace in that you won't have to be at such a rude internship placement. That's really terrible 😡, err, excuse me, merely "unfortunate." Some of my rejection letters have been deeply apologetic for rejecting me--you'd think this site would show some of that compassion here. I'm sorry this happened to you!

If that's the culture there, imagine receiving supervision there on internship? How can we feel confortable making mistakes and sharing our not-knowing when the bosses can't communicate compassionately and honestly when they make a mistake?

Thanks, guys! I appreciate your empathy/support here...something that *some* counseling centers are apparently incapable of! 🙂
 
General email invite to interview at Devereux! They offer dates every Weds and Fri in January.

yea....if they cant even get organized enough to be sensible through this process....we don't need em! It's not rocket science. Just get our names right. Just send us the right email. Ahh well....NEXT! 😉

How ridiculous! I understand people making mistakes (even though it is horrible and cruel to make a "you got an interview!" mistake) but they should at least grovel in their apology.

Hint to internships: if you sound like Nixon ("Mistakes were made...") then it's not sincere enough! 😉

slow is an understatement!! Lakeview Neurorehab emailed me to ask which track i was applying for, but it's written all over my APPI. Did they not read it?! So annoying!:scared:
 
Anyone hear from them yet? It was outlined in their brochure that we had to contact them by today to see if we received an interview
 
Generic Invite via email

Dates offered: January 8-10, 14-18, 23, 25 with multiple time slots per day
 
Just received a non-personalized mass email invite to Youth Opportunity Center. Interview dates are 1/14, 1/16, and 1/21.

I also received a phone invite to MercyFirst this morning, so I guess they have rolling invites. They have a bunch of dates in late December and January, but I didn't write all of them down.
 
Generic but very nice reject from Palo Alto VA.

...Man, that makes 3 today. That's a record for me. I much preferred it when I was getting about 50/50 interviews to rejects. Can I go back to that, please?
 
Personalized email rejection sent this afternoon. I was really hoping for this one. Onward to the next sites.
 
Just got a generic email rejection from Palo Alto VA. Not too surprised, but still annoyed.
 
Aaaaah...interview invite to Palo Alto VA!!!! Generic e-mail for pretty much any business, non-holiday day between Dec 18th and January 25th! This is top choice for me! wohoo :banana:
