Hi all- does anyone have information on the West Virginia School of Medicine Neuropsych track? I saw on the invitation to interview post that invitations have been sent to the WVU SOM (no track specified) out but I can't find it in the thread anywhere.

I second this request for extra information, regarding the Neuropsych Track at WVU, if any is available.

To clarify, only WVU Morgantown has a dedicated Neuropsych Track, whereas WVU Charleston has a general internship that can include neuropsych, so if someone heard from WVU Morgantown, re: Neuropsych, I'd really like to know. :xf:

It sounds like someone was granted a visitation to WVU Charleston, as the dates in the interview offers post are the same as the dates of their open house: 1/4, 1/11, 1/18.

I am very lucky, because my supervisors recommended that I take the month of January off. (I didn't even know that this was a possibility, and so was planning to make up time as I went. We also wrote this into my practicum contract in August.) I think that planning to return in February was a good call, because now I have the flexibility to schedule interviews and time to take a breath and relax in between. It is definitely difficult to balance these two important parts of our 4th year- best of luck!! -HB

It does help! It also corresponds to email correspondence dates (this weekend was confirmation re: dates) I have from the TD at Charleston re: the interview there. Maybe Morgantown's invites haven't gone out yet
 
VERY kind and friendly generic email invitation to interview at Pine Grove Behavioral Health & Addiction Services. On-site interview dates are: Thursday, 1/3; Friday, 1/4; Tuesday, 1/8; and Friday, 1/11 from 8AM-2PM. Huzzah!! 😀 Best, HB
 
Personalized invitation, dates are 1/25/13 and 2/1/13!

Has anyone heard from the Spokane/Walla Walla VA? According to thier website, they were going to notify by the 7th of December...
 
Plenty of silence. Trying to stay calm and wait til the 15th, but everytime I see a message in my inbox, I get nervous. Junk mail is especially annoying right now.

Thanks for the clarification! I am also waiting to hear back fro WVU-Morgantown regarding the neuropsych track. I had ruled it out as a possibility until I saw this. So maybe there is still hope for this site!

Personalized invite for Kaiser Permanente, Fresno. Nice to have something to offset the sting of two back to back rejections.

Congrats! I am still waiting to hear from WCPIP but I applied to the KUSM site (neuropsych). Has anyone heard from them yet?
 
Although it was generic, was it personalized (like had your name)? Did you apply to the general or neuropsych track?
 
I spoke too soon. Just heard from WCPIP-KUSM (neuropsych track) and got an interview! No interview dates offered yet, but said they will contact me in a few days with available dates.
 
Sorry to hear that! Still waiting to hear from them. Very surprising they would send personalized emails with everyone that applies.
 
Phone interview with Colorado State University Counseling Services- phone call 12/5 to schedule interview in first two weeks of January.

Dear Internship Applicant rejection from U WA SOM. I applied to the child track. I've gotten so many of these now I'm completely numb to them.
