Just got a II this morning from NYMC!! Was marked complete 9/18 and I took the 9/17 casper. Took them a while to receive the score. Keep hope alive ^_^

Complete 9/14-9/22 and received a rejection from Hofstra yesterday. First news I've heard in over 1.5 months.

3 MD/PhD IIs, 2 Rejections (1 MD/Phd + 1 MD), 4 MD/PhD to MD-only transfers.

Although I'm sure being late hurt my chances at some schools, I don't think it completely ruined them. However, I can only speak for MD/PhD. No news from MD-only schools yet.

I'm also a Canadian applicant, and feel you on those CanMD apps slowing me down. Your stats seem good enough to be considered at some schools even if you were on the late side but you probably won't hear anything back until December or January when your app finally gets reviewed. Obviously your activities/PS/secondaries/school selection will also be a huge factor in your getting invited but all you can do now is wait and see. Good luck!

Only 5/15 secondaries submitted this week, but at least I got an II already. Hoping to submit the rest before Oct 10th.

AMCAS verified mid-Aug, stagger-finished secondaries until the end of Oct. Fortunate enough to have an acceptance (secondary submitted early/mid Sept), generally looking for more II's as an ego boost more than anything. Life is good.

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that most schools have yet to review my app since I still have no word from my state school, but not sure how realistic that is. Best of luck to everyone in the same boat!
