I interview Tuesday last week, and got an email Thursday the following week:
"The medical school admissions committee discussed your application to this medical school including all supporting documents in your file. At this time, the committee is unable to reach a consensus as to whether or not to offer you a position in the medical school class entering in 2017; therefore, the decision has been postponed. Postponed students are reviewed again after all students have been interviewed. In mid-December you will receive instructions on how to update your file with new information from the fall. New information can include all activities that have taken place since the AMCAS application was submitted. If you have taken any coursework during the summer or fall, and the grades were not part of the AMCAS application, you are strongly encouraged to include the name of the course, credit hours and grades of all courses. You should also include an outline of any spring courses that you plan on taking. After reviewing all of the students who are postponed, the Committee will notify students regarding an admissions decision by February 15th."
Does postponed applicants become waitlisted afterward? Or there is still unlucky chance we getting rejection by March?
