Guys!!! So I'm really just.... arghhh!!! I got the secondary for wayne on december 20th but I didn't notice they asked for the supplementary app to be turned in w/in two weeks!! I was doing something else, but if I had really noticed, I would have prioritized!! That's all on me. Did I just pretty much shoot up all my chances? Am I pretty much down for the count???? I can't complain if I am because I totally deserve it if so, but I'm really really really hoping that's not the case!!!

Its getting kinda late to be submitting secondaries at this point, for any school. That being said, might as well call them and ask if you can still submit who knows it seems like they have 400+ Interviews left.

Actually they have a lot less interviews available than that. Their admissions tracker is not current. They haven't updated their interview numbers on the site since early November. I kept note of it throughout the cycle for personal neurotic reasons. Dates listed below are approximate.

Looks like it may be accurate. That's not to say there is a specific number remaining, as it's possible they will be interviewing fewer applicants this cycle, or have already filled a larger proportion of their pool than previous cycles.
 
I wonder how many of that 555 even know they were invited since a lot of people didn't get email invites and might not be checking the portal regularly.

I got my email and I'm pretty sure most people did. Those who didn't seem to be the anomaly.

Right. But most people got the email. OP suggested tons of people might be unaware they have an ii for that reason. Pointing out that's unlikely especially since conducted interviews aligns well with interviews scheduled.

That's been the same number, 555, since early November. So there's no way it's accurate. For one, I received my II in mid-November and others received theirs at a later time. I don't believe they didn't send a single invite since early/mid-November. Historically they've interviewed at least 700 students. Plus they have a class of 290. You don't interview 555 for a class of 290.

I never received an II email either. I only saw it on the portal.

Maaaayyybe they factored those future invites into their numbers for November so they didn't have to update it over the holiday?

Listen man just go with it, you're dangerously close to shattering the fragile reality I've created where admissions offices are never wrong, every one of us has an invite to a school waiting, and cheese has been reclassified as a vegetable.

Anyone have any idea when the next round of acceptances will be? Super anxious over here haha

Wow, post like this make me feel like admissions base IIs on a monthly coin toss. I have no clue why they would wait so long to send one to you.

This cycle in general has made me feel the same way. I'm just glad I got an II from one of my top schools. Hopefully it goes well. Good luck to you and everyone.
 
I am interviewing here tomorrow, and I was wondering if anyone that has interviewed here before can tell me a little bit about more about their experience?! Was it stressful? How many stations were in the mmi? etc

II invite on 1/11, secondary submitted on 11/12. Grades above average, MCAT score Average, Resiliency and being a personable human being - Phenomenal. LOL!
 
First II from here! CHECK PORTALS - I didnt receive any e-mail, just got one through the portal.

Stats: Canadian, traditional applicant, ORM, 3.8GPA, LM 74

congrats! where on the portal does it notify you? the site is a little confusing..
 
So is the general consensus that there is going to be one last big wave of IIs within the next few weeks? My secondary was complete July 22nd but I'm still hopeful lol...
 
I doubt it will be one, since interview invitations were made throughout February last year as well. They seem to trickle in in batches as well, so honestly who knows.
 
For those of us who interviewed Jan 13th, did anyone find out when we should expect to hear back? Early vs. mid Feb?

I talked to someone in admissions and they said that the committee has yet to meet in January but would be meeting soon. Not sure if soon means tonight or a few days, but im anxious af. With that being said, the Jan 13th people might have hope for a quick decision.
 
I guess I was assuming there would be a delay in when the committee meets and when we hear back so that's why I was thrown off they hadn't met yet. Regardless, I think it's unlikely we will find out tomorrow.

When I interviewed in late December, they said to expect a response by the third week of January, too. I'm hoping they stick to that frame, so we can hear something by at least Friday. I'm anxious, as well.
 
Does anyone know if there is a way to academically update Wayne State w/ grades from Fall 2016?
