The fourth and last interview day was march 3.

It was supposed to be the last interview date, but this year, they made an exception. The Western speakers said, because the applicant pool is better this year, they will hold one more round of interviews, but it will be a significantly smaller group. (~Around 30 people.)
Did u receive any new email regrades to it ?
the only thing i received was a notification that I was still on hold, which was March 1st =/
Hmm.. since they're doing another set of interviews (I missed the memo, I never heard them say that! Haha) does that mean they're going to do another round of Holds? :\
I was hoping since March was the last interview date that they'd finally make all the decisions and rule out the hold status... but I guess it's back in the picture now that there is a 4th date.

you guys got notified twice for on-hold status?
i've only gotten the first one on 2/17. i hope i'm not rejected...

I haven't heard anything back at all either. No rejection no interview no nothing. I called and asked if its true that they are having a fourth interview and they said they are but its for past applicants. Which I don't think is true b/c my friend is a past applicant and she interviewed in January. But she did say that my file has been reviewed and I should hear something back by thursday. But I haven't. Some of my friends already got rejection letters last week.
whoa whoa whoa... past applicants?? why would they want to waste their time doing that.. maybe i should call and ask that tomorrow... but im almost sure its for other potential candidates and not ones that have already been interviewed

I spoke to the admissions counsler and she said that they will have an interview for international students, but they have not confirmed whether or not it would be for other applicants as well.

that's silly. Having another interview to give these applicants an advantage over regular applicants.

if the 4th interview is exclusive to international, how is that advantage? International is only 1-2% of entire class. So they are fighting with each other. dont worry!!

oh my bad, i thought someone said it's for re-applicants. Thought they had an advantage from being considered during the 3 interviews, now an additional 4th one.
You guys don't have to worry about the international applicants there are still 120 slots open for regular applicants. The international applicants accepted this year (there will be 20 of them) will be joining the P2 next year. For example my P1 year we did not have any international students just 120 regular students, but this year as a P2 we had 20 international students join us bumping our class size to 140. I don't know if this makes any sense, but I hope this clears up the confusion.
Oh and about the 4th interview being re-applicants I don't know anything about that, but Western normally has 4 interview dates I don't know why they did not put up the 4th date on the site this year.

That's interesting! So they get to bypass P1 year because they already are a licensed pharmacist in another country? Doesn't that throw off the whole block system? I met a girl who is trying to transfer from another university to Western at the interview and she said they told her she'd have to repeat P1 year even though she's a P2.
I hope we hear news from the March 3rd interview soon. The anxiety is killing me! 😕

🙁😡🙂🙂😀 omg bipolar!Yeah we were notified twice. They sent out a couple rejection letters the same time that we got the 2nd hold notice. They might have just missed yours? I know they miss a lot of people on notifications -_-

Well, that was Monday. If you haven't heard anything yet then I think it's safe to say you are screwed. This includes myself. In these cases good news travels fast and its been more than 2 weeks. Now, you may opt to play "play with your heart strings" which is the lovely game of thinking your hold status is worth more than beans. That game is not for me. Me? Ima go bang my head against the wall....

oh no... Well, TODAY is exactly two weeks since the interview... So... it should be here anytime soon now... I'll call on Wednesday if no one has heard back from them...
Does anyone know what kinds of questions were asked during Western interview. All general questions or include academic questions? For example, is there any question relate to Pharmacy. I have interview on March 31. Thanks so much!
there's a 4th interview? are you an international student? um they mainly ask questions like "why pharmacy? why westernu? they'll ask a critical thinking question which is different for everyone. it's not too bad. you can find it on sdn under "articles/interviews."good luck

during second interview they said they'll accept more than 35 but never told us the number

i would make a rough guess that they probably accepted about 70-80ish people so far.
one of the reps said about half the seats are filled as of now bfore the last interview... and they will try to decide everything by the end of this month
