Yeah, and I was guessing since they are making majority of the decisions now that it would take longer. So who knows! It'd be devastating to get a hold this late in the game though. Sigh..

I have an interview on 3/31 also, but I received invitation on NOV last year. Are you applying international program or regular one?
woah this is crazy. I posted late last night and just now have read the last three pages of this thread. I got an interview invite yesterday via email. I did not see this coming. Is this last interview really for international students? If so, there must be a mistake because I am not one.
as for those who already interviewed, what was the process like? I read somewhere in this thread that it was 3 hours? Can someone elaborate a little? Any help would be great.

I called Danielle, the admission coordinator, and she said that none of the acceptances have been sent out yet for the 3/3 interview. She said that she is still putting everything together and will hope to send them out TODAY by noon, or TOMORROW! So... we still have hope guys!!! I don't know what that other person was saying... about their friend getting an acceptance letter on Friday, because none have been sent out yet!

I hate to burst any bubbles, but this is a stock response to be nice and keep you pleasant. I know cause I got that story from them the last year too. The fact is they are not allowed to tell you your status over phone and don't want to create and bitter betty's by telling you you failed. Sorry for being blunt, but having been there last year I disagree with false hope ( not to be confused with regular hope ).
I am sorry you are upset from getting rejected. But I called the office Monday and she told me that she is mailing them out Wed or Thurs. This matches up with her story. I'm pretty sure they haven't mailed them out.

if you are interviewed at the school, you are academically qualified. It is regular hope in my opinion.
False hope is you are not even interviewed and hope to get an interview.
Unless you dont prepare your mental state, there is no way anyone should do "that" bad in interview.
If you don't prepare, you just wasted a precious chance that other people hope to get.

I did not ask about my status though. I just asked if it has been mailed out yet, and she said she hasn't started but will try to get them today or tomorrow.. I did not tell her who I was or asked for my status. It was a simple question asking whether or not the acceptances have been mailed out yet.
Talk about a bitter Betty... who is being a bitter Betty right now? It's really unnecessary to continually flood this thread with your negativity. It's a wonder to me why your winning personality didn't win them over the first time.
Let people have their moment, I don't understand why people feel the need to berate people on this forum. It's a safe space to relate to others who are going through the same thing you are. This is one of the more stressful experiences, so encouragement and positivity is much more appreciated and accepted.
With that said, let's just not humor the angry troll of this thread anymore. 👍

FYI, they have not sent anything out for 3/3 interviews yet. They just got some decisions today. Anyway, do you guys think that if we didn't call them all the time they would finish faster? Hey, I am guilty too. But then again we want an answer what ever that may be..so it's a dog chasing their tail.😱
it's not false hope when we have good reason to believe the acceptances weren't mailed out.
and even so, there's still hope while being on hold or alternate list.

This thread is about information. I tried to contribute from my experience last year because events/admissions comments were this same way. This should be useful information for those waiting. We had the same comments from admissions last year, the same timing. I tried to help. I never meant to be an ass or anything, guess I was insensitive.
I told people to not mope, stay strong, and focus their energy productively towards other interviews or getting in next year. Im negative?
You disagreed with what I said and you became self righteous, called me names, judged my character, and made fun of my not getting in last year?! Then your all super positive again? Oooook, here, take half my seroquel. You need it more than I do.

Sorry, if you don't see those things are negative that issues lies with you. That's not constructive whatsoever to tell people that school's can't tell them they are failures. That's not constructive to tell people they need to "accept it's over" when you don't even know if it's over or not. And it's not constructive to tell people that their hold status "means more than beans," and that they're screwed. Are you on the admissions? Nope, so you are telling people to give up and stop trying prematurely.
So now you're acknowledging that people actually still have a chance of getting in? Before you were jumping the gun saying we should all give up hope.
Yeah, acceptances come out tomorrow. I wish EVERYONE great luck, and I think everyone should think they are AWESOME for getting an interview. Which is the exact OPPOSITE of what you've been communicating with everyone. There's a difference from being helpful in a constructive way and there's being helpful in a negative way, what you're doing. There's a right and a wrong way to approach things.

I was hoping that getting into pharmacy school would not have this kind of drama. I do agree with you that the person should not say anything if he doesn't have anything nice to say. He should know how hard it is for people that are waiting when their dream/goal is on the line. The "take it or leave it" attitude and "accept with dignity" are all bs. If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't talk about it.

I just dislike it when it's a direct attack at someone's self-esteem/self-confidence. It is tough enough as it is.
I'll take that as sincere even though you've re-edited your previous post at least twice in an attempt to criticize me. I hope you actually do get some good news tomorrow so you can see there's something to look forward to! Obviously you have worked at it just as hard as the rest of us. Hey, so you basically come and check in and then you're going to have an introduction led by someone. Afterwards, you get a briefing on the financial aid aspect. Then you split into groups. You're either going to be writing an essay (40 mins), having your interview (~30 minutes), having a tour (optional), or in the common area where you're allowed to mingle with current Pharm D. students. I was there from 9:30 am - ~1:15 p.m. I chose not to do the tour because I had visited the campus on the prospective days already.
I guess the interview isn't just for international students like what people thought. The day might be shorter for you because from what others have said they are only interviewing 30-50 people so it might not take as long because you won't need as many groups 🙂
Half a day is over and still no news.... Do u guys know that they will give results for on hold applicants too or only March 3rd?

And a side question. I saw that you also got accepted to WSU, but you turned it down. What were your reasons?
Hey no problem. I didn't take the whole time but I did use the allotted 3 pages.
I rejected WSU because of location. Haha... Nightmare to fly there. People were really nice though. It has been bittersweet deciding on schools because they all have pros and cons.

Just spoke to Elaine, one of the admission counselor, to ask about my prerequisite also mentioned about interview 3/3 results. She said they are calling people and its just a small list. "Your name is not on the list though. Good luck to you!" how sad!!! 🙁(
