This is what I received in my most recent email from UTMB.

"Due to the large last minute applications at the deadline emails will be sent out by December 3rd. These emails will either be a decline to our program or inviting you to interview. Interviews will be held in January. Possible dates are 19th and 26th. There will be an individual interview, a group interview with 2 faculty members and other applicants, and a chance to meet with current students. All applicants must attend an interview if invited. There will be no telephone or skype interviews."
 
When does TWU usually release decisions?

I was also waitlisted at Tech but got invited to interview with UTMB today. Good luck!
 
Just got my invitation for an interview at UTMB as well! I'm trying for the 19th. Just one step closer everyone! :clap:

I got an interview at UTMB as well, and hoping for the 19th. I came to this forum to see if anyone has heard back from TWU, still waiting on that.
I have an interview at Rush University in Chicago on 12/11!
 
I applied to tech last November and got an interview in January. I was waitlisted, but then accepted. So for those of you still waiting, don't give up hope!

Congrats! I have an interview at Midwestern University in Arizona in a couple weeks myself. As for TWU, I still haven't heard anything though I'm thinking we wont for a couple more weeks based on last years thread.
 
I didn't think TWU did interviews but I emailed them to ask about decisions and they said they're sending out interview notifications the 1st week of December (aka next week). Definitely was not prepared for that possibility.

Yeah it's a bit unfortunate... they said that they were starting up interviews again this year when I went to their open house. I'm pretty sure they didn't require them last year.

Hello, I'm a TWU student!

This is TWU's first year bringing back interviews. Alumni Advatage TWU students were invited to interview yesterday (12/1) for December 19th on Denton campus regardless of campus preference. Other admission interview dates are set for 1/10/2018 and 1/11/2018. I don't know if those invitations have been sent out or if they're waiting to see what will be filled through AA.

Alumni Advantage TWU students were invited to interview yesterday. The date for that is December 19th. I don't know about general admissions invitations but I do know those dates are set for 1/10 and 1/11! Hope that helps. GOOD LUCK <3
 
So, I know UTMB will only interview 160 applicants, but does anyone remember what their class sizes are, roughly? I want to say that they mentioned previous classes were around 40-50 people during open hourse, but I'm not 100% and I can't find it anywhere online.

I went to their open house and they said there are 60 seats to be filled for the upcoming class.
 
Someone posted this in a fb group about UTMB interviews:
They do an individual interview and a group interview. The group interview (if they do the same thing) is just a conversation between you and 3 other people that the faculty gives you a topic for. So they grouped us together and there were 3-4 professors observing. Basically looking if you can speak up, have good points, good communication skills... stuff like that. Individual wasn't long. They asked things like how I expected to thrive in a tough program, talk a little about shadowing.
 
My interview at utmb is officially the 19th at 2:45. Anyone else?

No I went to Texas A&M for my undergrad. I just got the email about 15 minutes ago so I’m sure more will be sent through out the day!
 
Anyone get invited to interview at TWU Houston campus yet?

Just received an invite to TWU Houston for January 11th at 9am! I got the email at 2:08pm Houston time.
