I freaking WENT to the gyno this morning AND got heckled by some pro-lifers, and yet the Universe is silent. It's quite rude. I might be able to muster up the energy for a walk later. I'm literally laying on the floor on my acupressure mat (#acupressurenation) and stress eating Reese's peanut butter cups and listening to an episode of the Office. So....check back later hahaha

Two in my cohort got invites Sunday night. As far as I know rejections haven't been sent yet, I haven't received either...it ain't over until the phat lady sings, IMO.

Edited to read: Both neuro, but I think the email was a mass email to ALL tracks.

I was going based on when they had sent invites last year and the year before. You may be more accurate hahaha.

LOL. Didn’t catch that “necessarily” on my first read through of my rejection, but that is GOLD. Also: peanut butter cups seem like an optimal coping strategy in this situation

My back-up plan...same as you - open a TexMex Food Truck w/ Lengua tacos, tamales and $1.00 breakfast tacos and the best salsas you could ever dream of.

do you mean it is the consultation, prevention and program evaluation track? Also what did they when they called you over the phone?

I think they just listed the whole name of the site and didn't specify the track. Are you breathing into a paper bag freaking out too? BECAUSE I SURE AM.

Sorry, was a little nervous about posting the track in case they figure out it was me - it's The Consultation Center! This process is obviously making me slightly paranoid 😉

It is for the consultation center track within the Yale Doctoral Internship in Clinical & Community Psychology (NM: 118314, APPIC: 1183)! They just called to say hey and offer me the specific date (1/8) I requested in my cover letter. Also said they would be mailing information to me re: interview weekend (?!?). At least I think that is what they said, I was having a mild panic attack :nailbiting:

Edit #8,300: It is also referred to as the consultation, prevention, and program eval track, so we are talking about the same one 🙂
