Okay, so really sorry about this rejection, that's a bummer for sure....But also, that picture of Simon Cowell made me LOL in a really cathartic way. So the APPIC directory says the Medical College of Georgia/Charlie Norwood VA's tentative interview date is Dec 11 and that they have dates in December and January. I know nobody has heard yet.... last I checked, but shouldn't they send their invites out? Those December dates are coming up fast.

Yes. They said they have that date available for interview. Then they asked me to respond to the invitation, and that if they do not hear from me, a "non-acceptance for interview will be listed for your application." I'm glad I had that date open, because the email didn't even suggest that I respond to make alternate arrangements if the provided date did not work for me.

Wow that's a little harsh. I hope I have that availability for whatever date they offer - IF they even offer.

Same! Congrats you all! Mine was for the Assessment, Consultation, and Evaluation Track. I am so surprised that the interview dates went so quick and it seems like there were not enough slots for everyone who was invited to interview to actually attend. Now I am even more paranoid to check my email every .2 seconds!!!

What is up with college counseling? I really wasn't aware it was so competitive. I've got 2 years of prac at colleges and 2 rejections no invites

Their competitiveness varies. I know Irvine only invites around 30% of their applicants, though.

Other UCCs I applied to invite like 90%, though. I applied to a lot of sites like that.

We have a network of practicums in my area and college was always dicey here to place. My ***** cover letter was so bad I was shocked i got invited. I thought my ****was better and rejection. I’m gonna pretend this whole thing is a crapshoot.

So my hometown has a college site and it’s fairly competitive, I was super surprised because i couldn’t imagine people wanting to live there but they do! Hint, one of the most dangerous cities to live in, no joke. Still waiting to hear from them...
