That seems pretty minor...what makes people think that rolling admissions is HP then?

Several people on this list also got emails from the Dean asking if we were still interested in Einstein. Also, based on previous year's threads, it seemed like most people that received that email were eventually accepted.

Because most people who got that email last year were accepted. Also, rolling admissions indicates a final decision wasn’t made yet while waitlist is a formal decision.

Yeah so my hope is that. Either they are gonna send it later today or they haven’t gotten to my app yet. The emails I get from Einstein are always later in the afternoon so we’ll see.

I got the rolling admissions/waitlist email too.... I am very confused because Noreen Kerrigan emailed me last week saying I would receive nice news from her... Low key really hope there was a mistake........?

Did you get the interest email to dean before you got the rolling admissions email? I think it just means you are on high priority but they have you the interest email before the actual rolling email. Considering all other people on high priority got the interest email, don’t take it as a bad sign!

For you and anyone else wondering, I did an LOI (interest) for the rolling admissions email and then like 3-4 sentences for the “still interested” email. Don’t know how others responded but those are my 2 cents lol. Hope it helps.

I thought that too but then @Gabgab said they interviewed March 30 and got the interest email and then the rolling email today. So idk anything anymore LOL

I also interviewed recently and my interviewer said it could be weeks before we know and we cant count on hearing by April 30th

Yes! The rule of thumb is that for any you school you interview at, it is suggested for you to add it to the FAFSA so that everything is processed with that school and it’ll make the turnover of when you receive aid packages much more quicker.

true, but it seems like they also rejected a good number of people so the overall waitlist is probably not huge

yeah probably. right now it looks like they are sending out weekly decisions(??) they sent out a wave the week before last week. A mix of rejections and HPWL

hmm i don't know if it matters but I didn't realize and i sent my response to @einstein.yu, but then got a response thank you email from @einsteinmed.org but this is interesting because previous emails were from @einstein.yu

I worked at Einstein until recently and they just completely converted all their emails (mine was also moved to a new thing), so this doesn't mean anything at all! Sorry to burst your bubble.

Had my zoom interview here recently. Great interview but this school's admissions process is something else... Pretty sure I was interviewing for a WL spot, and theres no timeline of when we will hear back. Guess the only thing to do is wait.
