Mine was conversational. Just talked about my ECs. Probably chillest II of the cycle for me
Does anyone know for sure if they accept pre-II updates? Tomorrow is Feb 1st so I also don’t know if it’s too late to even send it. Also for those who sent one, do I just attach my letter as a PDF and send them a blank email? Most places I sent an update to had a portal [emoji2368]
I sent in a pre-II update letter right after New Years and never heard back! :')
I don't know for sure, but I sent one and got an II like a week later. I never got a confirmation they recieved it though.
They interview until April, so I don't think it's too late to send one.
I attached the letter as a PDF to an email and briefly wrote in the email that I just wanted to send a letter updating them on what I'd been up to since submitting my secondary + included my AMCAS ID.

They do. I just sent a PDF and got an II later on, but I don’t think the update was a huge factor in that.
EDIT: No confirmation on my update.

Sent an update and didn't get any confirmation. My old boss went to medical school here and is well connected to the school to this day. Guess connections don't mean as much as people say

You get an email first but they also send a mail with the acceptance letter
Decisions come by 9 am EST right?
Looks like between 7-8am eastern based on previous years

Post-II R. This one hurts a lot. OOS, but I was born in the Bronx, right next to the school. Oh well, it happens. Best of luck to everyone else 🙁
