My interviewer who is also a department chair told me this year’s class size was being reduced slightly. He mentioned a similar guesstimate of ~160 students this cycle, instead of their typical average of ~170. I believe the med student is correctAre you sure about that? I have it on decent authority that they reduced the class size this year for the first time. Happy to be wrong and rescind my comment about this...
I apologize for the misinformation if I'm wrong!
That's honestly wonderful to hear! Thanks for the update, I'll delete my comment. Apologies again if my (mis)information caused any stress. My interviewer who is also a department chair told me this year’s class size was being reduced slightly. Mine was super chill the doc was really nice, i got WL thoughfor anyone thats interviewed here, whats the general interview vibe like?
What do you mean an intermediate decision?Did everyone receive an email Feb 1 on an intermediate decision? Realizing I've had radio silence this entire cycle and not knowing what to think....
I had seen on the front of the application portal that "Applicants are notified of their intermediate or final disposition beginning February 1." Honestly not sure what they meant by it either other than that....What do you mean an intermediate decision?
there's no real gauge, but historically the adcom sends batches early in each month until it gets to mid may, and then it can be whenever randomly a seat opensdoes anyone know the expected timeline for decisions if you interviewed in the last 1-2 weeks?
Seems like Aprildoes anyone know the expected timeline for decisions if you interviewed in the last 1-2 weeks?
Based on all the publicly available information I can find (SDN, admit.org, attendance numbers at admitted student sessions and on the student discord), i don't think their class is currently full. I could be wrong, but I'm interested in seeing what happens in the next few daysSomeone posted here that a school must give enough acceptances to fill their prospective class by March 15th. Assuming that they didn't accept 160+ people on March 5th, they will need to do something this week to reach that mark. This is a real rule, so the only way in which they wouldn't send out more acceptances is if they already admitted the entire class and everyone else is going on WL or R (I have no idea how many ppl were accepted last week).

Saw you in penn state, looks like you're making the rounds with the jokes 🤭Albert
Website says 8,897 in 2024. Huge increase14,000 applicants wow does anyone know how many they got last year?
it's rolling, it varies with the flow of the cycle, no real way to knowFor the HPWL, if that's even what rolling admissions means, when did people find out last year? What are the typical chances of getting off? Of course, this year will be unlike all previous years.
i'm pretty sure we just have to fill out the FAFSA, they do have a school code for that!hi! are there any financial aid documents that we have to fill out? I don't see a CSS code for Einstein
I haven't heard back, interview in October. I thought we would before March 15th.Anyone else still not heard anything regarding a decision? I interviewed back in October
