Hey, are there any current students in the thread that would be willing to answer some questions for me?
 
+1 OOS pre-II R. loved this school but knew it would be a long shot with no ties to SC!
 
Pre II R. Email stated “Due to our unique curriculum, we are specifically looking for applicants with significant clinical experiences throughout their application. The application pool this year was extraordinarily competitive – we received over 4700 applications for the 110 available positions in the class, interviewing less than 10% of all applicants. Unfortunately, the pool of out of state applicants was extremely competitive this year. We had over 4200 applications for only approximately 30-35 out of state positions. We wish you the best of luck in your pursuit of a medical career.”

Next Tuesday (April 15) is the deadline to narrow down to 3 schools. April 30th is *supposed to be* the final decision date for people, and I imagine you'll see movement after that.
