For this question: "3. Please describe your understanding of osteopathic medicine including osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). Please include your personal exposure to osteopathic medicine (if any) and demonstrate your understanding of the osteopathic principles and history of the profession." If you don't have much experience with OMT, then what has everyone been including in this essay?

This question has two parts

1) understanding of osteopathic medicine, OMT, and the history of the profession
2) Your personal exposure to osteopathic principles.

you dont necessarily need experience with OMT to be able to answer what it is 🙂 good luck!

Is the word count 3000 characters or 600 words? Right now I am at 550 words but over the 3000 characters so I wanted to see if I need to cut down or I am okay to submit.
 
does this school send a "complete" email after submitting secondaries?

Edit: I only ask because on the portal it says my application is under review but I never received the complete email.

IS II yesterday afternoon! lm 66 complete 8/18

getting the email during my third rough shift at the clinic in a row (thank you, 3 day long harvest moon/partial ecllipse) gave me so much motivation 🙂
 
Hey for those of you with an A, how soon did touro CA ask you to pay the deposit by? How much was the deposit?
 
Can anyone describe how the panel interview was structured? It sounds like multiple candidates with multiple interviewers, but I'm not sure! How has the interview experience been in general?

For me, it was 3 interviewers and 5 candidates. Each interviewer had a personalized question for each candidate, so no worries about trying to come up with an answer someone hasn't already said. I actually enjoyed this format because it was helpful to see how other people answer common questions. Good interview experience overall.

when you say "personalized" do you mean specific to their application and ecs?

Sometimes, yes! Others were more general. Not sure if every interviewer makes them specific to the application but that's how mine were.

It depends on your interviewer.
