It seems like many are going through private lenders. I'm personally talking to Navy and Army recruiters to see if I can get some kind of post-school service deal.

Did you already reach out to an army recruiter?

I submitted my primary in September and got a pre II hold in December. Not saying it will take you the same amount of time, but it does take them a while to review applications - just have to give it time :/

I have not heard of any significant offers in that regard. I had read about some form of loan they may offer for the last 2 years but I would have to double check.
