Which student would the admissions office prefer?

One with 3.3ogpa/3.2sgpa and 26AA 27TS
and another with 3.5ogpa/3.4sgpa with slightly lower DAT of 25AA 25TS.

I would say 3.5/3.4 with 25 which is still an amazing score.

However I would say it’s difficult to black and white something like this. Depends a lot on their PS, ECs, LORs etc.

In schools like Upenn/Umichigan, or other top ranked schools, which student would the admissions office prefer?

One with 3.3ogpa/3.2sgpa and 26AA 27TS
and another with 3.5ogpa/3.4sgpa with slightly lower DAT of 25AA 25TS.
Feel like they would prefer 3.5/3.4/26AA/27TS

i have a 23 AA and 25 TS with a 3.4 Ogpa and 3.42 sGPA. I applied early and an 3.77 post bacc. My lower GPA is definitely causing me to not be a first choice for a lot of schools.

Higher gpa because 25TS is still amazing. I know a person that got accepted to both Columbia and Upenn with 3.5gpa and 26 dat

i myself got into columbia on december 1st with a 3.5 and 25AA/26TS. this is proof that these type of applicants still do well in the cycle! although, my ECs and letters were pretty good, my DAT wasn't the only strong part of my app
