Hi guys,

So I'm 3 weeks out from taking my dat. I Have been studying since a few weeks before thanksgiving but took a week off for finals. I just completed orgo I and have taken bio I,II, gen Chem I,II, genetics, A&P I, and orgo I. I have some iprepdental binders with notes and DAT bootcamp and Destroyer. I have already gone through orgo and bio sections for destroyer once and have done a couple dat bootcamp subject tests for
Bio and Chem. I feel like I know most of the material but am unsure of what else to study. I keep reading cliffs and Ferralis bio to cover some weak spots there but for orgo, I don't want to use up all the practice tests too early so how should I accommodate my schedule for the next 3 weeks to be ready for test day?
Also, I want to buy chads 's videos but I feel like I know a decent amount of the info so I'm not sure if it is worth it to buy them.

Lastly, my Destroyer average scores for bio are around 22-26/40, 18-20/30 for orgo, and 20-24/30 for gem chem. Is this horrible or am I on the right track with improvement?

Thank you!

Definitely strengthen your orgo score, which seems to be your weakness. How about your RC and QR scores? PAT?

And just letting you know that by taking the subject tests for Bootcamp, you are ruining the effect of actual test-day simulation. The full-length tests use the exact same sets of questions, with the exception of QR and PAT tests 6-10.

QR I get about 32-34/40 but I have to study the formulas. Reading comp I tried one practice test but don't remember results. I'm mainly focusing on the sciences because I'm most worried about that

I think those are destroyer scores not bootcamp scores so I think those scores are definitely fine (assuming OP is learning from mistakes)

But yeah don't take any more section tests otherwise you'll run out of full length material

Thanks. Towards the end I started reading the explanations and now the second time through I will read each explanation so hopefully the third time through I am doing great. Should I keep reading through notes for the next week and a half and then start practice tests or how soon should I start practice tests? Also, do you think chads videos are pointless to pay for at this time?

Chad's videos are awesome, but if you are already finished content review then I think buying Chad's might be diminishing returns at this point.

With regards do your question about full lengths, it's really hard to say. I started doing full lengths before even finishing my first round of destroyer and I am happy I did (as it gave me lots of time to get used to the stamina and pacing) but others might disagree with me. You are the best judge of your abilities/learning style 🙂

IMO, I would focus less on practice tests and now making sure you know the material and using resources such as Destroyer and Bootcamp as a learning tool instead of a self assessment. You already know what the test is going to look like, and I assume you're caught up on test taking speed, so just reinforce what you know and challenge yourself with new problems. Even if you finished Orgo recently, do Chad's. You never know what you could be missing.

Excellent advice Jueves! Reinforcing knowledge is time well spent as this stage of TheRealBaller06 studies.

TheRealBaller06, feel free to message me and I can offer some last minute tips and advice.

Wishing you the best...Nancy

I just took a Kaplan practice test just to see where I was at because I didn't want to waste any bootcamp practice tests. I got a 19 AA and 20 TS so I clearly have some studying to do. I will start by buying chads videos and rereading cliffs
