A course with a weight of 1.00 equals 6 semester hours, my Canadian fellows?

Hey guys,

I know most Canadian Universities go by years or semesters, but not credit hours, at least at mine. So I was just wondering, did any Canadian got into U.S. schools with say, 1 year of physics which would be about 6 semester hours but they school requires 8?

Thanks

yah its a bit fuked up, eh! anyways. yes, 1.0 = 6 hours according to AADSAS, but when a school puts 8 hours, they mean 1.0 as well. You're fine.

Minimal requirements for all dental schools:

1.0 Chem
1.0 Bio
1.0 Physics
1.0 English

Other schools have other requirements, so check it out.....like you might need 1.0 Organic Chem and I know Tufts requires 0.5 Biochem
