A tribute to everyone's avatars (just for fun!)

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
My avatar is my kitty Fluffy. She passed away last year at 19 of a wierd adenocarcinoma. Anyway, she was the best, most snuggly cat ever. She would always sleep snuggled over my neck. If you consider that I'm 26, you realize that I've had her most of my life, through elementary, middle, high school and college, moving to another state and getting married. WOW!

My avatar is the last guide dog puppy that I raised all the way through before leaving for college, Wilkie. Since then, I've only been able to puppysit over breaks. Wilkie was a special puppy, by far the easiest one I've ever raised. He certainly wasn't the brightest, but that's probably why he was so easy! He made it through formal training to about 2 weeks before he was to get matched with his new partner, and then began stressing and displayed it in the form of a fear of heights (jumping in/out of vans, walking open stairs, glass elevators, escalators, etc.). He now lives with a great family in Oregon who love him to death!
