I've heard that the AACOMAS only uses the most recent grades in calculating GPA (ie. you got a C in a class, but retook it and got an A........they only use the A). Can anyone verify this?? I know this may be a FAQ but bear with me.

Thanks in advance

I remember that AACOMAS only uses the most recent grade when you repeat a course. AMCAS uses both.

Yes, AACOMAS will only use your most recent grades for a class that is repeated in calculating your GPA. However, AMCAS will use both.
