In regards to AAMC CBT TEST 5 VR PASSAGE III Question 4, the answer uses TWO absolutes "All" and "Completely". This goes against the teachings of EK101 and PR that answers with absolutes are the wrong answers....

Is AAMC pulling a trick by using question answers that the prep companies say are wrong? .... :scared:

Good thing you got this wrong on a practice test rather than the real thing. Just b/c something says completely/all/never/always doesn't mean it's the right/wrong answer. You have to look at the context. For example, if the question is: what does the author imply about the use of speech in everyday life, and the passage says that people generally find it beneficial to view language as a collection of metaphors, and one of the answer choices was "all people use metaphors", that would be wrong. There is no percentage of how many questions that use extremes are right or wrong, but a lot of them are DEPENDING on the context. Use your logic where appropriate.

ALL answer choices that use the words ALL/COMPLETELY are ALWAYS COMPLETELY wrong =P
