about an international HBV-Positive application for dental shcool

Hi,everyone
One of my previous classmate wants to apply for DDS in USA,but he is HBV-positive but HBeAg negative.
Could anyone can give some view about his chance to be admitted and even future licence and practice in USA, given other conditions meet requirement?

Actually he feels very sad about his such bad situation, Help him ,please
