Acceptance

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
? lol...does hello mean you got in?

I attended UM as an undergrad and was accepted to their DPT program. UM's program is very family oriented and they try to cap the class size at 50 to keep the faculty to student ratio as low as possible. Also, tuition is bocked rate at about 16,000 a year. Compared to other top 10 ranked programs, you'll find that to be a blessing once you graduate.

UM's faculty and even it's department head have been supportive of me throughout the entire application process. For me personally, there is no other program I'd consider. And I can honestly tell you that it'd be a great choice for you as well.

Hey Lolawashere!
Thanks for the input. I really!! want to be accepted to UM. I interviewed in November and have not heard back from them. Do you know when they typically start to accept applicants? I absolutely loved the faculty when I went there. Seemed like the perfect environment for DPT studies. Have you graduated already?

crossing my fingers!

I also interviewed mid November and I received my acceptance letter on the 10th of December. I loved what I saw and I am so glad that I got in! I'm sure yours will come soon enough.

Doesn't the tuition cap put it at 25,500 off their website for 3 semesters calendar year from May '11 to April '12 at $8500 a semester... Or $76,500 upon graduation?

Honestly, they're cheaper than I thought they'd be but not tremendously so. They did slip my radar, sort of wish I applied and considered them, as well. Good luck to all those who applied
