The students go back to studying, and the pods go back to teaching/working/carrying on with life.
That will free you and doczero to decide whether you want to continue hashing out things we already know or step up and be champions for this profession. Or not. It's clear you have a way with the English language, and plenty of free time on your hands. So belly up to the bar and take the fight to the hill. Many on this board have tried to assuage you that we are aware of the different situations confronting the profession, and how they are involved in one way or another. Yet you both vacillate between being ra ra cheerleaders to denigrating the profession as a whole. Please pick one, stick with it, and then kindly piss off. I for one am tired of the threads being constantly hijacked, references to secret and super duper secret websites/conferences/circle jerks in which we are barred. Great, got it. Go be our champion if you have it in you, as you do have valid points. While these points are important, they aren't likely to change within the next six years. There are people on here with more pressing problems. So to reiterate: valid points, received and well hashed over, moving on.

There is a certain credibility that must go along with each post, and you must "consider the source" of each poster. There have been claims that "traum" and "doctazero" are the same poster.

Doctazero denies the claim, and in my opinion, actually denies it TOO many times. We all know that it would be very simple to post from different computers with different IP addresses, despite any moderator's request to refrain from that practice.

What is even MORE disturbing, would be a conversation between "traum" and "doctazero". That's just beyond weird.

Yes, I know, there will be defensive comments and reverse accusations. But for those of you who don't smell the toast burning, I've highlighted a comment from a "traum" quote above that is not a term I've read a lot on this forum, and quite coincidentally, please read a quote from "doctazero" from a post in another thread.

What is this the NCIS of podiatry sites? Are you the new Columbo? What do I have to do to prove to you that Traum and I are different people? Can't you glean anything from the writing styles? You know, along those lines, now that I'm thinking about it you can tell me precisely, not just some line by line tit for tattering of who said what when where to who line item quote parse text link shebang thing…but; an ordinary, cumulative description, comparing and contrasting the use of commonalities and differnces in the use of verbs, adverbs and adjectives as well as the use of mixed metaphors and conjuntions. Describe in detail how some of these posts serve to evoke a specific emotion, response or reply and if the post itself succeeds in accomplishing these things. Using a ven diagram, depict how the adjoining arguement coincide with each other and how these constructs vis-a-vis comparisons stack up to comparable excerpts, which you'll footnote, from contemporary literary products. After assembling this treatise, you'll certainly derive some theory as to the personal nature of these things and the Epiphanous moment will have come and gone (apologies to those of the Mosaic pursuasion among whom Epiphanies are not an option). So, now that I have your attention and you're thorougly convinced that I have some psychological anomalie your sense of thorough research, accusations and `aha' moments reward you with one great big….Jeez, you might say to yourself this isn't the same person who wrote those other things, this is the guy living under a bridge whose travelled back in time to the twenty first century to save me from myself. At the end of the day, no mater how many keys you press nothing is going to happen on a predominently student forum site. If you really have an issue then go to conferences or stand on a box telling the world is gonna end. Otherwise you can spread your message to the ears (or eyes) of just students. 🙂

Of course I do understand why you post on this site (docta, tru, MH), mainly for the kicks that you openly post about on the uncensored forum (even talking about individual posters). How is that for professionalism AND respect from the audience you are trying to convince 🙂

Let's get one thing straight. Stop trying to convince me that the moderators requested that you post under one identity. We already know that, you've reminded us of that fact several times already. As a matter of fact, you've reminded us of that SO many times, it made me more suspicious.

But let's be realistic. It would be quite simple to post from another computer with a separate IP address or even post from your iphone, Blackberry, etc. So don't keep re-hashing how you it can't be done. We all know it can be done, you've already proven that point.

Bellying up to the bar and getting assuaged is really a delight, some of those skills pay the bills and hone me up tight to fight the good fight. I'm glad someone out there is looking out for how I spend my time. Traum, I don't know what else to tell you. You obviously have some agenda. All of you concerns have been addressed. The profession is actively involved in all of your concerns.

Non physician status - only not defined as physician under medicaid
Students NOT taking USMLE - this has been debated ad naseum, who knows what will happen. I admit that it is a bit strange as podiatrists do practice allopathic medicine.

Pretty everything else you've said is ridiculous. Of course we've aligned with allopathic medicine. It's what we practice. And that is why we have medical degrees, write scripts, have medical/surgical privileges in healthcare systems and at hospitals, perform surgery, are constantly having patients sent to us by our MD colleague, are members of MEDICAL STAFF at hospital, etc. The issue is that you just don't seem to WANT to acknowledge any of that. Instead, it is a constant focus on limited and area specific issues that still exist but are being actively addressed. And of course you never have any response to these posts but simply continue to harp like a broken record on the same things. Agenda???
