hi fqs,
just check your result online,go to the oet website.login.enter your email add and password the one u had written while filling the form.once u are in go to candidates and it will show your result.i checked mine in this manner.
the result statement will be posted but i have not recevied it

Hi melbourne mallu,

You will waste your money by applying for Qualitative Feedback as they wouldn't change the result even you have done well.

They have given wrong format in OET study material. I also followed the same last time and failed. They have recently updated sample writing test

Hi everyone I am new and my status is mobile intending to sattle in Australia ...😍

I did the assesment and it went fine any tips on the OET... I booked for the coming exam.😕

I am appearing at the next ADC part 1 and i have neither the march mcqs nor sacs.... the only thing i have is old mcq papers!!! and i do not have any clue how i am going to study.... we need to get organised and do something cause i believe i have forgetten my detailed theorical knowledge even if i graduated 4 years ago .... although i try to update my self during this 3 years i suppose i need to study reallly hard for this exam...i do not have any choise.....
i have got a book list from the adc..and they have a note at the bottom says, tahat they know that most of the boooks are out of print and the list is in the list process of being reviewed....
and i believe we need to read updated books too. do not read that cawson or bouchers old mcqs ....

I also followed the same format as recommended by official OET material and I have passed it. With due apologies,you must have done some mistake. You must correct what you did not do properly last time.+ you can practice writting different referal letters on different common clinical situations.

The answer is A) palatal , because the roots of 12 and 22 are palatally oriented.

does orbicularis oris elevate the mouth? I know it closes the mouth but not sure about elevating ,

Answer is B.
The O Oris is a sphicture muscle that puckers the lower lip (kissing muscle) . The mentalis raises (elevates) the lower lip. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mentalis

Im not sure its useful to buy or not, but I think the shipping cost should be less. you can contact them and ask before sending the money, if u want.

i finally did get my results today...i got a D in reading and a C in writing ...gosh i am a little shocked didnt expect such a result but anyways guess i`ll have to start again.

seriously the work u guys are doing is just fantastic.....specially the efforts of drmelbourne, drill and drums are just immaculate.....

im new to the forum so have no clue how this place runs.....

im basically planning to apply for ADC in 2009 ....

it would be appreciated if any advices are given as to how to prepare for the exams

any advice, books .links to books, notes , mcqs ,sqa's , would be a great favour upon me if u guys mail it to me at [email protected]

this place is just tooo good .....so i guess it wud traet me the same and help me out of it as the rest had.....

Please go through the olds posts and you will find alot of valuable information. After reading all the old posts, if you have any particular quareis, we are ready to answer. Because it is difficult to answer repeatedly the same questions.

i checked the list of books which i had received from the adc.i dont have most of the books.do they ask alot from these books.in that case i will have to buy some of them.
there are alot of coloured atlas.i think they must be important.

i'll take the oet exam next month i was just wondering if anybody knows how long is the validity of oet incase i passed it , is it for couple of years or for life?
and what are the sources that can help me in addition to the oet dentist special booklet that the oet sent me?

yes the answer is correct and you can find it on Oxford clinical dentistry in surgery chapter.👍
