Hello wendy , The ADC Part -1 is OET Examination, ADC Part 2 is Theory examination and Part-3 Clinical examinations. you can get the latest study materials from a company named Dentalsuppy they are very reliable and reasonable. (Dentalsupply.mail.com) they will be best and you get cheap materials from them. I don’t know any other company in this Glob. Normally people land up reading all kind of unwanted books and get in to confusions. But my sincere suggestion is read only the book you need this company will guide you better. I completed my exams with the help of this company and I suggested them to all my friends.
Best of Luck

Hello Chu , You will not find cowsons mcqs book in any store , some one told me that a copy is available in UK and a copy at Royal hospital. If you want a copy you can get it from Dentalsuppy they are very reliable and reasonable. (Dentalsupply.mail.com) I suggested you must read it for your success

Hi
After clearing all these steps, you need to get registered with the any of the states dental councils and you will be able to practice dentistry straight away.
Please go to the official website of the ADC and read every thing written there. Do as much research as you can.

Hi
Good to hear that you have cleared all your exams and have startedvworking with a good package, Can I ask you something, weather you are working in main city hospital or private practice?

Hi
I want to clear a few common confusions about some of the books.
1)Cowson: Its an MCQ book and it has been recommeded by the ADC its self for the exam. You can not get it in free or read it online. You have to buy it or photo copy it by borrowing it from a librarory or alternative from some senior.
2)Boucher: Again an MCQ book, very old but I found that almost 70% of the MCQs in September 2007 were from this book. It is a bit hard to find out. The good thing about this book which I liked alot is, the answers have been given with very clear explanation which itself gives more knowledge.
3)Odell: 56 clinical cases have been discussed in this book. This book will help you in attempting SQAs and this is avaible in medical book shops in Melbourne e.g. 'Melbourne Uni bookshop' and I think 'SSP books' Laygon street. You can go their websites or call them and get the required information.
Cheers :hardy:

There is some information about this book bellow. I hope this is going to help all those who are preapring their preliminaries:

[FONT=Helvetica,Arial,Sans-serif]"...the value of this resource extends far beyond undergraduate teaching. Qualified practitioners, especially new graduates, would find the book a useful clinical practice reference manual. Postgraduate teachers and vocational trainers could benefit from the case study approach when preparinf for tutorials. When your first patient comes in with 'fractured incisors' and the next is a pain in the neck' this book might just be the place to which you should turn."
