How much harder is it to get in a school without an interview? If you get an interview, would you have a higher chance of getting admitted or there's meaning to it? I applied to MCPHS but never got an interview and my GPA is way above the minimum they require and my other stats are pretty good..so I don't know if I have a fair chance of getting in 😕.

Most schools require interviews before they accept you...I actually think all schools require an interview

Unless there is something I'm missing, you can't get into a school without an interview.
Here is what was in the interview invite I got:

Thank you again for your application to our doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) professional program. In accordance with the American Council for Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) guidelines, acceptance into our PharmD program is contingent upon successful completion of an interview.

When you do get an interview you have a much higher chance of being accepted, usually about 1:2 or 1:3. I would recommend you contact the school and ask about your status.

Some of the smaller/private ones use to when I was applying back in 05, not sure how many still do. Requirements have become stricter.

Interviews are required...

Look at Guideline 17.3 which is on page 36 of the .pdf file.

They list exceptions for 0-6 and 1-5 programs, but the fine print basically says that they are to be evaluated prior to entering the 1st professional year. This sounds to me like students attending one of these programs undergo 1-2 year interviews...

If the pharmacy schools criteria says that they must interview candidates, then you cannot get accepted w/o an interview....to be honest it is common sense! 🙂🙂🙂

Like everyone mentioned, an interview is required in order to be accepted. Certain schools didn't offer interviews back then (even up to 2 years ago), but they're required nowadays.
