It's all about $$$ bro. CMGs just care you're willing to do it for what they pay an RT hourly (or less lol). All interchangeable cogs we are.

I'm not worried, based on my experience the vast majority of RTs have zero interest in advanced degrees or having to do clinic or whatever bull**** this would otherwise entail.

Yet many still don't seem to understand vent management beyond basic volume/pressure control settings...it's scary sometimes.
