Hi, I am currently a pre-med student. My main activities are presently working as a part-time physical therapy (PT) aide, bio tutor, and doing hospital volunteering in the ER. I plan on applying to this early medical program that is affiliated with my school and have been watching many med school app videos and wanted to ask if you belive these main experiences help show my interest in medicine, because many videos mentioned that although being a pt aide provides direct patient care experience, it wasn't considered enough. (Note: For volunteering, I also have many hours related to direct patient care, like vitals, etc., to help provide that clinical aspect)

It is starting to feel as if I am not doing enough to showcase my interest. Do you think I should branch out to more opportunities to make my application competitive, such as MA or CNA, and are PT aide hours not considered for med school apps?

You seem to be in a great place in terms of clinical experience. Old threads on SDN seem to agree that PT aide hours are clinical hours (I mean, they're definitely patient interaction, right?).

Tbh I would take a breather with clinical xp and focus more on other things (shadowing, non clinical volunteering, maybe research, interesting personal projects etc)
