So, I remember a while back that there was a post about the amount of NIH dollars medical schools get. Yet, I know there are often options for students to enter a lab at a nearby institution.

I can't seem to find a list on this board of all of the affiliated research institutions. This info seems to be spread around, and I think there might be value in consolidating it here. So, what about starting a list of all the institutions at which an MSTP trainee can find a mentor? e.g.

Cornell (Tri-I) - Rockefeller University, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
Harvard - MIT, Massachusetts General Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham & Women's(, etc?)
UC San Diego - Scripps Research Institute, Salk Institute, Burnham Institute
University of Pittsburgh - Carnergie Mellon
University of Washington - Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center

Ok, I am sure this is terribly incomplete. What do you all think?

There recently was a lecturer from Scripps at my school - he said that Sripps has no affiliation with UCSD.

Isn't Tri-I also affiliated with Courant? (which makes it 10000X more fantastic IMO!)

pky463, if Tri-I was affiliated with Courant, wouldn't it be called Quad-I?
