yea my letter from UoP says i have to get at least a B in every class... the letter from Penn says that I have to get at least a C in every class...

Each school will send you a letter regarding the stipulations of your acceptance agreement. Most would require that you pass your classes. Others may require that you do not go any lower than a specific GPA.

so lets say u get a C in a class like in spring or something..already made ur deposit and all that good stuff..the school will reject you if they say "maintain a B average"? has this happened to anyone u know? that would really suck...
I honestly think you need to pass. Whoever I know that got into medical or dental or pharmacy or whatever school. They just needed to pass after that. I asked this to my cousin whos in dental school and he said you need to just pass, but shoot for more. Dont settle for a C.
Can anyone offer insight..
I wasnt able to do my graduate Thesis Proposal presentation because of interviews so I will be given an "incomplete" until I do it in late January, then the grade will be changed. I'm worried about even sending the academic update with and "I"

Have you already been accepted anywhere? If so, then don't worry about the update. They may just require your FINAL at the end of the year. If you haven't and need to update immediately, just explain to them what happend. After all, you did get the incomplete because of their interviews. I'm sure they will understand. They will just want to know you completed it later.
I don't have much to add and I'll qualify this by saying my friend was pre-med, but...
He got a C in a course his second semester senior year and they actually asked him to come down for another interview to explain why he scored as he did.
I don't want people to panic or think that this is always the case, but I don't think I'll let off the gas next semester until the very end when I know I've at least secured a B.

One letter of acceptance i received said "this offer is based upon the completion of any remaining coursework at a level consistent with your past performance."
Another letter said "this offer is based on the successful completion of your remaining pre-req"
Therefore, I believe it just depends on the school, but I don't doubt that would take some sort of action if you did not meet their requirement on grades.

I guess it does depend on the school, but generally I would think this is not really the time to just "let go" because you got accepted. Keep your GPA as reasonably close to (or better) your current level right now, without killing yourself. And enjoy the hell out of this summer 😀
